unfortunatly i notice my specular sand no longer works because of bumpmap for randomterrain, and when i try to make randomterrain spec file it has ugly effect - oh well

NEW UPDATE TO SHADER SUPPORT.
now supports bumpmapped ctm, random terrain, all mobs, hand held items.
new shaders
seus v10 rc6 is now out, i will update shader again after some testing and alteration
also i notice some errors with bumpmap on mobs will have to fix so an update will be in a day or two.
i've been experimenting and testing settings of new seus shader, i've almost got it right for vondoomcraft.

edit; i'll keep editing this for now..... i have been hard at work configuring and testing the new shader to get it perfect for vondoomcraft. it has taken many hours so far and i believe i am very close. i still feel though that the bumpmap shader is not what it used to be and can be better so i am constantly trying new settings both in the shader and in the textures. anyhow heres a couple more pics of progress.

new set 1 shader, minor change to set2 shader (not tested by doom yet) new shader features include: parallax occlusion (no texture yet for vondoomcraft - that will be next update), ssao, moon rays, cellshader, hq dof as well as existing features, lens flare, god rays, bumpmap on all mobs,ctm,randomterrain,handheld items and blocks, refelections and semi-realistic water. you can also turn on glare or motion blur. everything is configurable so if you want a custom shader ask me.
NEW instructions: USE THESE VERSIONS. for minecraft 1.4.6
1. install optifine HD U A2
2. install Karyonix's glsl mod v1.12 only from here
3. delete meta-inf.
4. create shader folder in minecraft.jar
5. drag set1 or set2 of shaders into shader folder (only files inside shaders.zip inside set1, set2 folder).
6. delete entire ctm folder from vdc
7. drag texture files into vdc.
8. play and enjoy!
set1 shader file should now work for everyone. it is the better option.
set2 shader is for those who cannot use set1. (better compatibility- missing minor features)
Can you explain this a little better? Where are you seeing "set1" and "set2"? Also, what textures are we dragging into vdc folder?
I'm pretty new to modding as I'm new to PC gaming. I've been using the Magic launcher for mods and everything is working except the bump mapping and some textures aren't working like, Steve, all the animals and some inventory items. Mine doesn't look anything like zomb69's. Could someone help me get it working to where it looks awesome?

those guys having trouble, first guy look in the downloaded files its very easy to work out. second guy, i don't use magic launcher, check internet for instructions installing mods manually. sorry i'm not more help
Zomb69, I've done everything I can, followed every instruction and mine looks nothing like the screenshots you are posting and the steve texture, animal textures and some item textures still aren't working. Any advice? Oh and I wasn't using magic launcher, I did everything manually.

did you start with fresh minecraft.jar? make sure using karyonix's glsl mod version 1.12
open with winrar or winzip
delete meta-inf folder
install optifine (must use version matching karyonix's glsl mod)
drag shader mod class files and shader folder into minecraft.jar
drag shader files into shader folder
add downloaded textures into vdc.
this should work
btw parallax occlusion (ie the 3d effect) is not supported by texture yet (in progress)
