I dont know if its the right place to post, but when i install zomb69's shaders everything gets a blue tint and light gets purple.
Could anyone tell me what im doing wrong?
i've installed minecraftforge, invtweaks, rei's minimap, optifine and the shaders with magiclauncher
then i create the shader folder and move the shader1.zip into that folder after that i delete the ctm folder in the voondoomcraft texture pack and the i add the envoirment files
The discoloration happens when the GLSL Shader mod isn't working at all.
(Zomb's shader tweaks make the default light blue-ish, which is then fixed by the GLSL)
My guess is that you just selected GLSL shaders in MagicLauncher without installing them properly first. (Read the mod's Readme!)
If it's installed correctly, you'll see a "Shaders" menu ingame, from the main menu. From there, select zomb's.

I had this problem and there is an easy solution:
Simply rename the shaders1.zip to test.zip and delete the old test.zip then run and it should go.
I'm dissapionted though because I get horrible FPS when I use the shaders (Which are AMAZING by the way.)
I need a better computer.
fixed light grey wool. the terrain_nh and terrain_s are complete. i'm looking into karyonix's version of glsl, but atm it reduces fps by another third so i won't use yet. if it improves i will do the ctm files then.
edit: uploaded new set1/set2 shaders minor changes to water. set1 has better specularity
worked out a semi-fix for the end- you need to delete doomtunnel.png and doomtunnel.properties from anim folder. delete previous textures (lightmap0,lightmap1,lightmap-1) in environment folder and add new ones from new download (lightmap0, lightmap-normal)
the only problem now is its very bright in the end and the lens flare but at least now it doesn't look like crap.
Alrighty, so I'll have a release tomorrow with what I got done: GUIS, Better Skies (really need feedback on these. they're still a WIP!), fixed health icons (half-hearts/stomachs shrunk for visibility), new Steve, aaaaand if I can get this done tonight, Female Steve.
I didn't manage to finish the Santa or placeholder villagers yet, but what the hell; I'll still do them for some post-holiday fun.
At the moment, I'm working on some female HD skin variants. Basically, recolors/slight edits of the above one; plus a more Steve-dressed one and an S&M (to offset all the cuteness).
I've been promising some HD Skins for the ladies since before I even started the texturepack, and frankly it's about damn time I got SOMETHING for the lovelier 51% of the human race.
Also, I've got a very early version of a "Make your Own HD Skin" PSD set. Once the ladies are done, I'll add their parts to it and have it ready for folks soon!
Though, it probably won't get a huge exciting release, as I'm not looking foreard to making images for them all and updating the various HD Skins forums/pages I really need to.
Find me a "Hunchback Pyramid-headed Hobo" mod and you've got yourself a deal, mister!
Seriously, I'd love to do Maxx more than pretty much any character other than Man-Thing and maybe the Midnighter, but I think he'd end up looking exquisitely dull as a minecraft skin. just a big blob of purple with some details on the hands and face.
I may give it a shot, but I've got a list of dozens of HD skins to get done first.
- New Trading, Anvil, & Beacon GUIs!
- New Better Skies w/ Mountain Skybox! (WIP!)
- New Bloody Steve & Stevette char defaults!
- New Pet Bat Mod support!
- New Minions Mod support (little Doombots!)
- Updated the half-heart/stomachs!
