Makes me wish for an R2D2 companion mod. He could zap Creepers and needlessly over-complicate backstory!
thanks doom.... mmm maybe i'll make an R2-D2 one day, would be fairly easy. yeah i found some blue-prints so i'll be busy building, i got an r2d2 and tie-fighter.
Quick update:
Spent most of the day toying with randomizing the hieroglyphics, only to have them all turn out awful. Still want to do this one, it's just gonna wait for a bit, as it's not a high priority.
For the last few hours though, I've been working on the remaining GUIs! I've still got a couple to do, but here are the WIP versions of the Anvil and Trading ones.
I think I'm going to add a metal backplate to the Trading one, as well a tweak the shadowing and such (haven't gotten to it yet)
Also, I'll update the villager picture and "traaade?!" whenever I get the Cthulhu guys done!
On that note, I've been wondering: Since the Cthulhu villagers are going to be a HUGE project, and probably won't be done soon, should I toss together some villagers that look like the "village idiot" above as placeholders?
(just switching the colors for the different dudes)

So... we'll have a town full of village idiots, and then eventually they're overrun and replaced by Cthulhu cultists? Yeah, that works for me. I'll make sure to donate an emerald block to the church.
Edit: Actually, can there even be a village idiot if the entire town is comprised of equally idiotic people?

i've noticed with my shader support that the light grey wool reflects when it shouldn't. expect another update in a couple of days. (its not a major problem) also sonic ether stated that v10 rc6 shader will be out in day or two, so i will update then.
I really like this texture pack! I just can't get it to work, the items don't show their texture and the mobs are in the default texture. Is their anything that I need to do to get it to work? I really love this pack and it annoys me that it won't show the items and mobs.
After toying with them MCP and Optifine, I did manage to get Better Skies working with Optifine; But Forge wouldn't work with them combined.
MCP just added Mipmapping, so although it's sill not nearly as handy as optifine, I'm trying it out for a while.

Still very much a WIP. It needs clouds, and I'm still having some troubles with the fog... But yeah... first real Skybox for Minecraft!
