just noticed you like gwar aswell! my mate went to their concert last year.

All of it looks awesome Doom. I really like the new swords (from warhammer 40k, right?). They just look awesome even if i never played it before.

i will also work on new premades with the new alt weapons, however after i upload the 64x port i'll be left with 100mb data till i get more friday so i will upload them from a cafe tomorrow.

Great texture, but I did not understand how to choose alternative weapons.
Is it like morepaintings mod or change it myself?

you can change yourself with photoshop or gimp. or you can wait till later today i will upload some pre-made alts.

edit: uploaded 32x, 64x alts now download from op (low res ports dropbox link)... 128x and 256x alts will be uploaded this arvo.

hey doom you also need to change the premade alts (and blood rain when i do it) download to my dropbox link aswell.

Am I allowed to just use this as a Texture pack with MCpatcher? Or do I have to download Optifine and Magic? Looks really cool!

You can use with any hd patcher and launcher you feel like? Just looks better with optifine and its mipmapping

Actually, the Slenderman's just an alternate texture now.
And while, the smile.dog idea is a funny one, I'm still not entirely sure what to do with the wolves just yet.

I'm thinking something akin to either "the Nothing" from the Neverending Story, or the werewolf from An American Werewolf in London.

Looks awesome! If you haven't already, I'd think about posting some screens and the link in the new GLSL/SEUS thread! There's probably a wider audience of folks that would want to use use your shader edits.

Yup! Gwar's been my favorite band since I was around 12! Seen 'em 13 times or so now.
I bet you friend came back covered in all manner of bodily fluids!

Glad folks are liking them! The animation was just a quick test (only 2 frames!) that ended up looking perfect.
Actually, I think they're so badass that the Diamond chainsword is going to be becoming the pack's default, and I've made a cool Golden version of the Skeletor sword that's becoming default as well.

DERP! I fixed the problem on the Leather Armor ICONS, but forgot about the armor itself! It'll be fixed next release, promise!

Nothing stupid about it!
As Zomb said, you must manually edit in the weapons/items you wish to use, and save it as "items.png"; replacing the one in you vonDoomCraft texturepack zip.

Anywho, a bit of news!

Firstly, having finally had enough, I've given my notice at work and my last day is this Friday. I don't have any real backup, per se... so if anyone has any ideas as to how to actually make some money off this stuff, please feel free to shout them out
For what it's worth, it'll give me free time to work on the pack for a little while!

Let's see... other than that...
As I mentioned, the Diamond Chainsword will be replacing the Skeletor one (moving to Alts); and a golden Skeletor sword will be the new default Gold Sword.
I'm also working on revamping the bow & arrows!



I'm also going to try and work in some revamps for all the old gold and diamond tools, to make them look like the newer textures.

thanks doom. i have posted in the glsl of thread, i'm still messing with them though, i got lens flare effect when looking at/around the sun. looks amazing. i'm trying to get reflective water to work with vondoomcraft but thats less successfull so far. i've seen it in default and it looks nice.

i'm pretty sure he did!! i think gwar is his fave band also...i've seen a filmclip from a gwar concert and it looked pretty awesome.... you should do a gwar skin! this one

ok i've uploaded the 128x premade and blood rain - skullflakes and betterskies as well but i don't think i have enough credit at this cafe to upload the 256x ones (no internet at home now till friday) i will upload 256x premades by tomorrow arvo (no longer using mediafire - dropbox is better imo)

i hope you find work you enjoy more. my job sucks too but i'm aiming to be pc technician (taught myself to build pc's)

Thanks! I'll try it with Paint.net. Such a great choice... Stone Hammer, iron sword, diamond chainsword (WH forever!), golden katana.
And the Chaos star on the wall in my house looks awesome!
