also i will be of little use for 2 weeks i downloaded too much and ran out of internet.
All the alternate textures are in the ALT TEXTURES folder inside the zip, but you will need photoshop or gimp (or any program that will open .psd files) to access them. Alternatively you could say which you wanted to be replaced and me or zombe will be happy to do it for you.
I looked in the Alt textures, but I couldn't find the terrain file with the alt woods.
Well, in the default version the birch and jungle wooden planks have a crate-like texture. I would like the alternate version that turns them into normal planks like the other two. Thanks!
I'm running the 32X version and it is just amazing. My new favorite pack. Only drawback I've seen is the passive mobs(Animals, Villagers and Golums) are default skinned. If you're ever wanting to make more mob skins, support for Elemental Creepers and/or Scoaleton would be awesome.
They look a little plain ingame, so I may just add hairs, make the bodies green, and go with the original "evil caterpillar" idea for the default and use the maggot one shown here for the alt/randommob.
Ok, so I recolored the Silverfish and gave it hairs/antenae; I'm going to toss in a few more randommobs colors for it and they'll be all set.
Also, they're the only 256x mob skin so far! (for the extra detail)
Today's release will also feature the first optimized versions of all the textures!
So there may be a little color loss (hopefully not noticeable ingame), but hopefully it'll be much more playable for everyone!

- New Silverfish! (maggot & catterpillar randomobs)
- Heavily updated all the older mobs!
- New Creative GUIs!

- Removed "Alt Textures" to save on filespace. now they have their own download.

Loving the new stuff Doom. Especially mobs. I never liked all the black lines everywhere on the mobs, skeleton is probably my favourite. I like the colour you have for it now. Now they looks very nice very good looking GUI's too.

Been working all weekend on some stuff!
I've also updated the zombies and made the pigmen even uglier & with glowing C.H.U.D. eyes!

also battlegear mod is not going to be updated 1.3 killed it. he plans on making new mod without duel-weilding i think.
