Great texture pack... BUT... the text could do with a resize and inventory background colour could do with change too
there is alternate in alt folder for green menu colour.. better than pink imo.

btw zombiez have new texture layout to allow for a zombified villager head. edit: i modified the new textures so your zombiez work with double head layer however i just saw a zombified villager it had green default villager head with the second zombie head layer over it(which is different shape and totally wrong but it looked funny). so you will have to fix that somehow or change the villager?

The thing is, usually when I don't use the patcher I can still select the texture pack, it just won't won't show the textures correctly. So even though I'm not using the patcher I should still be able to select it.
This is a really cool Mod. I put the "better Skies-Folder" from Misa's TP into the vonDoomCraft-Folder and it fits great.
If Emperor Doom could create a "original vonDoom Night Sky" it would be awesome!

I played around a bit with the Skybox stuff when i was working on 2.2, but decided to worry about it once Optifine has the BetterSky feature. (Honestly, if you're using MCPatcher instead of Optifine for anything above 64x, your game is looking about 300% shittier than it should).
But yeah, once optifine has it, I'll fiddle around with all the coding/textures. (I think it'd be neat to have random things appear in the skies at different times instead of focusing on the sun/moon)
As for the Zombies, I played around with them a bit too. And yeah, it sucks that it applies the same outside head box to BOTH faces (for no apparent reason...).
What I'll do it simply copy the Zombie faces to the Zombie Villager faces and delete the top of the inner headbox; so they stay as single zombies. If there's a huge call for Zombified Cthulhu dudes, I'll make them their own randommobs textures out of the villager skins.
I'll have to get rid of the visible brain on Mr. Zombie though, as the Villager-Zombie would just have a giant see-through hole in their heads. Or possibly just draw it on the outer headbox.

I'm toying with different fonts right now.
The Beta 2.2 now has a more readable font (though I don't care for the style much).
I'll probably keep tossing in WIP fonts until we can agree on a good one; then I'll put the time to size the letters and make it work 100% properly.
I actually really like the font on this one, it's just, a couple laters are harder to tell the difference of. Can't wait to see other fonts you pick! And, the skulls in the grass and sand are epic. Makes you feel like someone was slaughtered there or something like that. xD
I want to keep using this texture pack but it lags out my Minecraft so much when I am recording videos at the same time. Is there any way I can make it lag less while still recording? (I have lowered my render distance to tiny and put all my detail settings to low but it still lags)

It's amazing random textures support for ctm. Making the world look better. It's really just sand. With a different texture that appears randomly to put it into simpler words. Also look throough the grass and you seen roses/yellow flowers and skulls
I really love the new update, but still could you make an alt file for the bow and arrows,i dont like the design (sorry), because Hawk eyes bow doesnt fit in hte texture pack stil...
i would love to see an alternate design, but i nderstand if you dont have time to do it...
I think he said something about replacing it with something else. Cause I'm pretty sure he did that around the time of the avengers coming out (not completely sure)

This appears to be a common thing with larger HD packs.
(Just tested without any patcher and it does the same thing with Misa's pack).
Just use Optifine.

Actually, I could never hand-eye-thing down for tablets.
I usually draw the stuff out on paper first; scan it; and go over it digitally using a mouse.
THIS THREAD is a good place to start if you need any help with pack making, as it explains a great deal of the textures in Minecraft.
