Man I wish there was more texture packs like this... I mean, there's "Horror" texture packs but none really give that dark, but lighthearted feel that this one does. I love this pack but ive got a question. Can you give your best estimate on when it'll be 100% done?
hmm got another bug but its the opposit of the one that guys had:
all textures work fine, but the topsite of the chest got the emerald texture, also when i brek the chest green pieces drop out of it instead of woode chestpieces. (optifine or mcpatcher issue?)

So Fine's post got me thinking about the golems. What if they were stone statues made in the image of Cthulu?
It'd follow the village theme. Village priests created them in their gods image and bestowed them with the power to guard the village from outsiders.
It wouldn't make as much sense for player made golems unfortunately.
Actually, Because I've come up with a good method of making vines and such, lately I've been thinking of making the iron golems into Man-Thing:
He'd fit with the villagers well enough. Really though, he's my favorite character (i actually own the above statue) and I've always wanted to do a skin of him. The IG model just fits so damn well too!
Plus, c'mon... who WOULDN'T want to start building in swamps just to place these guys as guardians?

On another note, I've finished the menus!
All except for the Enchanting and Alchemy; as I have to make the items for each first. Also the Creative menu, as I still have yet to try our the new snapshot.
I've also finished the stick, fishingpole, reeds, and I'm about to start working on some placeholders for the break animation & redstone.
Hopefully I can finish a few items and such as well.
I've never heard of man-thing, but that'll certainly be an interesting golem. It doesn't appear to have a head in the conventional spot though, would that mean you'll be making the golem head invisible?
The gui looks awesome, except I'm kinda iffy on the rib cage for the breastplate spot, thought it was a kinda spider lobster thing for a moment at first *derp*.
It's not perfect, but it's the best it'll do!
Likewise, I've done an okay breaking animation. It's probably the worst single texture in the pack, but it's better than default!
As for the ribcage; As much I try to make the pack accessible for everyone, this is one of the rare times I'm going to say "If you can't figure it out through deductive reasoning, you're too stupid to be playing this game."

Nah that *was* a stupid moment for me. It was something like "Why is there a lobster in the che... *facepalm* " Hence my derp. Red stone looks neat though. Short connections kinda look like hour glasses
