It won't be a big release, it'll basically include the Moon texture and higher resolution items.
I haven't had any real time to work on textures this week, so I'm saying Sunday in the hopes that maybe I can get a new block or two in there for the release.
hmmm and how about a wooden plank with a rusty nail? (as wooden sword)
Actually, that was my first idea for the Wooden Sword! Make it sort of like the really shitty accessory weapon that came with the original Spawn toy. I ended up passing on it, as that nails would have ended up just looking like a grey blob, but with the higher resolution Items.png, I might just be able to pull it off.
Worse comes to worse, I can do most of the texture and just remove the nails or something.

Wow, VERY cool screens! I actually like the way the pack looks with cell-shading there!
I ended up giving up on the cell shading after I was unable to edit it to work properly with some of the other shaders.
Those look like some great builds, as well! Are they yours?
I have a small suggestion with the ores. Maybe make it animated and have like a little twinkle thingy as if it's shining.
I've been considering this since I first made the ores. It's something I may do later, after all the main textures are done and I can start making fun little additions.
I don't want to add that right this second though, as I still have to remake a couple of the Ores.
Actually, I may end up having to remake all of the original textures. I'm going to start making all my textures at 256x and shrinking them down to 128x. that way, when it's finished enough to worry about 64x and 256x versions, I won't have to upscale it for 256x (which always looks awful)
Plus, I can test having other textures at 256x in the 128x pack. Who knows. maybe the only texture that really needs to be 128x is the Terrain...? 256x HUD and Icons might be pretty awesome!
Gonna have to test some of this out as I'm coming along with the pack. I know there are certain textures that will automatically scale themselves to others, I'm just not sure which.
Props to you, this is the best texture pack I've used to date, and I'm a huge texturepack sampler with dozens of them (from 32x to 128x) on my computer. I like the overall style, and everytime I see an animated block, it shocks me how well it looks and how it flows with the rest of the pack. My only issue is having to see all this awesomeness tainted by the 16x blocks. So I replaced all of the 16x textures with 128x textures from the Raphous texture pack, and although it obviously doesn't flow with the specific style, it makes the quality difference gone and makes the blocks you haven't done yet less of an eyesore. If anyone wants, I'll upload the .zip file at some non-profit link like mediafire. All I have left to do is maybe switch up the old nether portal and whatever else I find at random that's still unedited. So, once again, very very nice pack man, keep up the good work, because it's looking amazing.

i like the cell shader, i just enable it with seus shader.
everything i post is built by me - i have more but just waiting for more textures b4 i post em. that first massive castle is (i think approx) 300x300 square all by hand no cheats - took three months to build!! (i do need to get a fly mod to take better pics of it) and the mech took about two (it even has working cannons)(i did use spc to dig pit).

I downloaded that just to check it out. And yeah, no textures fit with vonDoomCraft :L
I literally SAID they didn't... You're very good at reading. Besides, What texture pack is even relatively close to the feel of this one? To have one that suited it well would basically be to completely retexture another pack, man. Read the original post where I say "I replaced all of the 16x textures with 128x textures from the Raphous texture pack, and although it obviously doesn't flow with the specific style, it makes the quality difference gone and makes the blocks you haven't done yet less of an eyesore" Which basically disregards what you said...

I'm hard at work trying to make sure tomorrow's update doesn't feel too empty.
Right now, it's looking like the following will be included:
- New Wooden Door w/ Iron Door variant (placeholder until i come up with something cooler)
- Soil (farmland blocks)
- Moon (going to lose the flag and work on the moon cycles right now)
Plus 256x ITEMS!
-Remade the old ones in 256x
(EXCEPT FOR THE BOW AND MJOLNIR! But they autoscale, so they look okay)
-Iron Axe, Pick, Shovel, Hoe
- Wood Axe
- Stone Axe
The swords and Gold & Diamond tools will be done later, as they're gonna be the ones that need some extra creation time.

tools look really good i like the reaper hoe and the axes are great (and as much as i love how they look you may want to make the cleaver(gold sword) a different colour to be different from iron (for me not a prob but some people may get confused)) . the doors look great too. thanks for your awesome textures.
i hope that minimap mod guy will put yr texture in it looks really good
Not yet, though they were created at 256.
I'm gonna focus on the 128x version first, but create each new texture at 256x. Then, once the terrain is done, make the 256x version.
I don't want to work on both at the same tim because it's just too daunting. For a fully 256x terrain, I have to recreate most of the textures I already had finished, plus make a large number of extra edits to each block I work on (recreating the little squiggles for each resolution, for example)
For what it's worth, I'm gonna see just how many 256x textures I can toss in there that aren't the terrain.
On another note, it looks like I may have the tools done by tomorrow!
I wasn't going to, but just for playability, I may toss in placeholder gold and diamond tools. They'll just be recolored iron tools though, so I may just add little "placeholder" brands to them or something to get the point across.

Got tall grass done, and the jungle shrub thing.
Just because I had started this texture long ago and wanted to finally finish it.
...and yeah, I'm totally using the Little Shop of Horrors theme song for whatever big video I do next.
