What is being used on your server for the custom HD skins?
to be honest I don´t know cause of I am only a architect not a coder. So basically I live from what the owner and his coders do. If you want i can establish a contact to the owner (Nidefawl) he really enjoys smart and creative people and is always good for a chat or either way you just give us a visit maybe?
To clarify a few things our server is not a forge or bukkit or whatever beast. It´s completley coded by the owner and every modification we decide to use and he decides to grant us is not implemented like adding a mod, it´s completley coded again from crap like only using textures for the most. He even stopped updating minecraft as gamebase every time a new version comes out, he just picks out the cool stuff and codes it into the game we play. So basically we are running a different game since about two years i guess (if i am not mistaken should be about two years now). That´s why all ideas which come up are basically coded new. For that we got a lot of unique staff what no other server can run. I assume the skinthing is not adaptable for other servers, but hei i am only the soul not the brain

Ok, that actually explains a lot. Finding mods or addons that allow use of high res personal skins is not easy so having a complete rewrite of the Minecraft server would be one way to do it. I do wish Mojang would natively handle high res skins though.
Hey Druha once you have the free time I'd love to see Pixelmon vDC Style some models are still blocky and have textures on the Pixelmon (I think, I could be wrong) so seeing "UnDead Pixelmon" would be awesome, also keep up the good work :3

I saw this thread and just had to sign up to say a few things. First, wow, just all around wow at graphics that make minecraft look amazing. Second, thank all who involved in the creation of such amazing art, it is truly amazing. Thank you for making it available for everyone to enjoy. On that note, could anyone clarify the installation process. I've been away from Minecraft and it's mods for a few months and my memory has discarded most of the more advanced mod installation process. Is there a specific Optifine I should be using for whatever specific versions of what's available on drive? It's very confusing, and thank you for taking to the time to explain in advance.
