...It's hard to come up with an inspiring design for spiders I found; but you have some solid ideas going with that art there :smile.gif:
Why thanks! Yeah, it really was a pain in the ass trying to come up something for the Spiders.
it really wasn't until I found and flipped through my old Arthropod Biology schoolbook that I had a concept that didn't feel like it would be a waste of time!
I'd be awesome if you make the wolves look more like real wolves in terms of color and fur design style thing :oDo you already have any plans for them?
unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to stick with realistic coloring when it comes to the wolf fur. Both Misa's and LP Photorealism have wolves similar to the pictures you posted, and as far as I've seen, they're bacsically it when it comes to 64x64+ Wolves; So I'd like to do something a little more unrealistic. I haven't really come up with a definitive concept for them yet, but I'm thinking along the lines of the wolves from AdventureQuest Worlds:
Love these mobs! Keep it up. Don't stop what you're doing here. I made a remix of your zombie. If you're interested I would love to show it to you or post it here, whatever. It's really only a few tiny changes that would be used as an alternate or something.
I'd love to see it! Feel free to post it here or wherever!
Man, I LOVE the style you got going on here bro. It inspired me to draw again.
Well, then I feel like I accomplished something!
Honestly, as an artist whose been burned out on drawing before, that was about the best compliment I could have gotten. Thank you!

If you're going to make the wolf like that, I think you should at least give it some sort of serious or noble expression, you know? Don't make it look goofy or extremely angry.
Um...yeah it is a personal pack. He has taken textures from other packs and mixed them.
Look at the dirt in the zombie pick and others...those are not anyone near what the comic book pack uses. I use that pack. He is using a mix of this http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/200299-16-128x-64x-minecraft-4kids-shaders-0527/
and other packs. The comic book pack has started only recently too and he has been doing these mob textures for a while.
Great pack, Doom! Absolutely love all these mobs, and the news that you'll be doing passive ones as well has brightened my day. They're all just designed so amazingly. Keep up the great work, man!

Thanks! It's not set in stone yet, but the basics of "weirdly pointy, and uneven" are staying.

Retired StaffI tried to make mine have a skull shine through when they shot fireballs.
You took yours up to eleven.
I love it.
Also.. What is the texture pack you're using in the background of the screenshots?
Looks a bit like The Great Sea but I'm not sure.
I think he said it might have been a mix, but I think it was Minecraft4Kids
a wolf like that would be awesome - give it some scars though
lol, I used to play that game!
it's a personalized pack for his own use
EDIT: Sorry for some reason it double posted my post.
that's not the texture pack he's using...
The one I use is customized for my own personal usage :wink.gif:
lol, I know. Was having an egotistical moment ;p
