So, what's new?
-Minecarts!
-Boats!
-New fleshy Mushroom Biome!
-New Emerald Ore, Block, and item!
-Various small color/brightness tweaks to existing terrain bits.
-Various small fixes for exposed pixels and other problems.

64x port updated - fixed-,re- download here. and op. 32x port is uploading now done. shaders i will update tomorrow. premade alternates i don't have enough internet to continue them but fear not when minecraft is updated (and vdc) to 1.5 alternates will be easier for end user to choose.

Hopefully the shaders aren't a huge pain to update. I basically got to the Emerald block and thought "ooo, zomb's gonna hate me..." lol
As for the Alts, there's really no rush. I haven't even updated my own Alts in a while, as I'm still floating in pre-1.5-limbo; Wondering just how much of the pack will actually be usable, etc when 1.5 comes.
If i want to use this in 1.4.7 do i need to change something?
or is it working with old a new texturepack format?

At the moments, vDC is only working with the old format.
As is, the new format is so poorly made that any pack above 64x is just unusable. So, for the moment, the pack and I sit in the aforementioned limbo, just waiting for Mojang to realize they're not very good at their jobs, or optifine/MCPatcher to force the old format. (neither of which seem to be happening)
As you can probably tell, I'm actually extremely upset by it all.

In other news, vDC has got its first Adventure Map, painstakingly created by PopularMMOs!
And holy sh*t, it is of surprisingly awesome quality!!

Custom shops, items, monsters, bosses, story, dialogue, and tons of "you're probably gonna die" violence!
I honestly wasn't expecting anything even close to this level of quality when PopularMMOs contacted me about doing a map.
no worries doom (i'm more worried how the 1.5 update will affect shaders), though i do need the psd's for new emerald block and ore please.
edit: thanks, also i just noticed the new light sensor, i will need psd for that as well as i can do parallax texture for that. also if you send me the psd's for the new mushroom biome i'll be able to make the eyes pop out...

i was about to upload and release my new shader support for 3.6 vdc but sonic ether just updated shaders to v10 rc7. a few new things have been added so i need a day to go over it and adapt for vdc and my textures.
and doom it looks like photobucket is stuffed for both of us
i have changed to imageshack and instead of only 2gb bandwidth (photobucket) it has 5gb free account. i know it sucks but with all your images i think it is better than paying for photobucket upgrade.
also with new snapshot released today one of bugfixes says 'texturepacks no longer working' hopefully that means 128x performance is fixed, i will test right now and get back to you have to wait for mcpatcher. core texture handling classes changed.
edit. so far the new shader is better, especially parallax mapping (smoother) all my pom textures look a bit better.
any chance of tackling IC2 BC and TE machine blocks. i would love to see some forge support for this pack as my evil lair could use some frankenstein chic instead of those clean white machines :/

ok sorry my internet ran out. i have uploaded new textures but haven't changed shader yet as i'm not happy with the water in rc7 and a few other things. will wait till chocapic works his magic on it or the next version of sonic ethers (his facebook page looks very promising.) instructions are here.
WELL, images are finally working again...
Yeah, I may as well switch them over to imageshack. I actually have the $2 a month plan with them, I just like photobucket's setup better. plus imageshack has a tendency to mysteriously lose random images. Oh well.
Anyways, it looks like 1.5 is almost here, and I'm just waiting on MCpatcher to update to see how everything's gonna work. In the meantime, I spent the week working on some side projects and such. In two non-MC mini-releases, I finally threw together some shader suites (ENb & SweetFX) for "Dawn of War 2" and "Space Marine"!
If anyone's interested I'll toss the download links below.

thanks Doom! while i wait for chocapic to fix the water for shader i've been building in my world, i made a death star (currently doing interior), i also made a walker which i am in process of customizing. atm my world is very compact, i haven't explored past the spawn (except to find stronghold) and i have imported all my works from previous worlds. i have a few starwars ships in sky and just got a x-wing schematic so i'll probably make a sky battle between x-wings and tie-fighters!
And I hate it!
And it smells!
And by sucks I mean its awesome and I'm crazy jealous/Inspired by it...
And by hate I mean love..

I would love to use this but I can't use the full hd one, and I can't find the x64 one..
Any ideas why?

partly..... you will still need mcpatcher or optifine for extra features such as randomobs, ctm, random terrain etc..
