hey doom when and if can i am making pocket edition for android/ios, i need to know how to get image of every block like this (glowstone only) -
not every block is in pocket edition yet though, but there are a couple of blocks in pocket not in pc version so i will have to make them, once i work out what i need psd wise, i will let you know. i have already done most of the work structuring and editing textures/folders, i've created most of the gui also. i should have first version in a day or two.

I see those pictures with the shaders mod, and then I want the shaders. But then it takes to much work, sigh lol. Still. Love VDcraft and have been using it since it came out, even when it only gave me 15 fps
ok it took a while but i got vondoomcraft running on android device here's some pics (textures are 64x) (sorry bad pics i don't know how to take screenshot with device yet, had to use camera on screen)
will release first version (android) tomorrow.
i will make a 128x version also ( i think it should be good)
ok thanks, i was hoping there was an easier way, but thats ok. i will go through what blocks are in pocket edition and get back to you. or i may just edit as you said.

I took a few days off from texturing to catch up with my brother in halo 4, so I'll hit up responses later (Wow, seeing a lot of awesome stuff though!)
Anywho, I have now wasted an entire day trying to get the new Snapshot to just open with vDC and it doesn't seem like I'm going to get it tonight. I've used MCPatcher to convert it, deleted the CTM and ANIM folders (just in case) and applied MCPatcher, but I can only get a Splash Screen & crash.
Since changing the texture format, I've only gotten Minecraft & vDC to work once, and I got 15 FPS. (no CTM or animations either!)
I'm finding all of this very annoying, and I haven't even gotten to the manual texture/properties converting yet.
i can only get 1-2fps myself with new texture format, tried deleting a few things to no avail. it could be the 256x files maybe? i don't know, default works fine and i've only found one other complaint about lag. (other packs seem to be fine - though i haven't downloaded any to check) i will resize the 256x images to 128x and see if that helps as soon as i get home
finally got my comp last week and played with this awesome pack
heres some feedback
1. i dont like the stone sword because it gets confused with axe but the electric animation on it is EPIC
2. seeds, gunpowder, redstone packet stuff, i dont like because it looks weird when im mining or farming and packets come out
3. i dont like depleted look of health and hunger bar which is a black circle
4. i dont like rotten flesh which is zombie hand, i want brains!!! i remember u made file for brain but i cant find it
5. the stone might get confusing because some looks like it has moss on it
6. you should make the sun have a badas face like the moon cuz i love lookin at the moon!
7. ANIMALSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
8. tnt would loook a lot better as something more noticeable and dangerous looking like red block with skull face instead of brown which blends with everything else
9.i like the diamond sword that looked like sword more
other than that , i really love this pack ,

ok guys here is first beta vondoomPE (pocket edition) android only atm.... the crafting gui is messed up and will be next thing i'll fix along with making an ios version (i will also make a hd version for better tablets). if someone can please get a screenshot for me. i mainly did this because my friend got an android device and he really wanted vondoom textures, so atm i have limited testing time. (and i don't know how to take pics on it, it has no home button just power and volume)
installation is a bit tricky but, here is how i achieved success:
first you need to transfer vondoomPE.zip to download folder in android device.. (i had to install astro file manager and link it to my dropbox)
next you need install Pocket Tool on device
follow these instructions remembering you must hit apply before exiting -
Directions: (on your device) You must have Minecraft PE or Minecraft PE Demo installed in order for PocketTool to run. Launch PocketTool.
Install Downloaded Skins/Texture Packs: Click "Install Downloaded Content" You may install a skin by long pressing the skin you wish to install and click "Install" You may install a texture pack by long pressing the texture pack name you wish to install and click "Install" Return to the MainScreen (hit Back button)
Use Installed Skins/Texture Packs: Click "Change Textures/Skins" You may install a skin by long pressing the skin you wish to install and click "Use" You may install a texture pack by long pressing the texture pack name you wish to install and click "Use"
Install: Press your device's "Menu" button/key then click "Apply Changes". Confirm the install. Launch Minecraft PE (or Demo) and enjoy your new skin and texture pack!

edit: my theory is correct, running vondoomcraft with only 128x textures for items and sun/moon works
maybe all the 128x textures need to be resized to 256x to keep the items as is?
i made a custom gui for pe crafting menu but it seems i wasted my time, still trying to work it out. here is the image if anyone knows how to get it to work
also i should have ios version later today needs further testing

I've been in bed with the flu, which seems to have lead right into my old jaw problems.
So while I'm no longer vomiting, my mandible has ballooned up and looks like that kid from "Mask". (the 80's movie with Cher)

Anyways, quick rundown of my tinkering my with 1.5 :
Zomb was correct, in that the 128x and 256x stuff no longer play nicely. Apparently all the lag and such is caused by the game upscaling the terrain to 256x (which I guess means larger resolution pack are simply worthless and unplayable now. Way to go Mojang!)
Looks like I'm going to have to scale down the items to 128x. (which angers me to no end)
Also, because 1.5 is going to make Minecraft even laggier in every way possible, I'm probably going to have to cut way back on the CTM and Animations.
I was really really hoping that the update would allow me to individually optimize each block/item now that they have their own texture files; but because of the way MC will automatically put them together into one super-unoptimized texture, mojang has basicaly assured us all that every single 32x & up pack will now be even laggier, if they work at all.
So I guess my only real question is... what the is Mojang doing??

uploading .jar is illegal so no sorry.
start with fresh minecraft.jar ,follow the instructions ,pm me error log if doesn't work.

EDIT: The Texture Pack vonDoomCraft, it shows me only the blocks and not the items. (Ive patched it!) Why it doesnt work?
