TPOC is currently working on a temporary PE port for me!
I don't have any real details yet, as I haven't even bothered to look into the pocket edition yet, but from what he tells me, it should be set up fairly soon.
Once the pack's all set, I'll throw together a proper full-on PE version.
also if anyone is interested evilminecraft is updated. i know emperor doom already has his work cut out for him, but it would be cool if the orc skin (alt player model- play as orc) was vondoomified
I'm not really worrying too much about mod stuff just yet. I do love the thought of playing as an Orc though...
I'm gonna have to follow that thread so i can remember it once the pack's further along. I've been wanting to make a Warhammer: 40,000 Ork HD skin for a while now, so when i finally do I'll have to see if I can fit it for that mod!

There'll be a 64x sometime after the 128x is done. I haven't seen him mention a 32x but dropping the textures to 1/4 of their natural resolution could make it a bit difficult to keep the general feel of the pack intact.

I've already toyed with shrinking some of the textures down to 32x and they just looked like horrible square blobs. Really, if I was to do a 32x pack it would all have to be pixel art; so unfortunately 64x is as small as I'm willing to go; and I'm not even sure that won't look awful.
Can you please put the Alt items in a png and lay them out? Cause with GIMP is shows all textures in a 256x box with them layered. And i have no idea how to use them :L also what is the machete texture default for? Iron or gold?
I may have to do something like that (or maybe just add better instructions) later on.

Basically though, all you have to do is select the layer of the Alt Texture you want to use, and copy & paste it into position on Items.png (making sure the original one is deleted and it lines up properly)
It looks more complicated than it is.
I Had an idea yesterday while watching The Avengers... Could you make the pumpkin blur like the inside of Iron Man's mask?

I'm still waiting for the Avengers to open in the USA next Friday! I'm hoping it's a much better birthday present than Spider-Man 3 was! (it also opened on May 4th and I have never been so disappointed in a movie)
For the Pumpkin blur, I'm actually planning something along those lines!
Although, it will be Dr. Doom (who has a much more advanced armor than Stark ever had) themed.
Meaning, I want to try and give the feel of looking through his mask without obstructing too much of the screen; and also the holographic in-helmet HUD bits will be either Doom-green or blood-red.
Hell, if it all works out properly, I MAY be able to add little animated bits to it. I don't know yet though; the Pumpkin blur texture is complicated.
As for the bow, I wasn't planning on making a more real-world one. Honestly, I just think it looks a bit generic.
If anything, I may recolor the current one to black or brown wood for Alt textures; or possible make a red Turok Tek-bow. (Actually, now that I think about it, if I recolored a tek-bow to purple, it'd look pretty close to the movie bow...)

I just saw your pack featured on the home page, congrats! I can't wait to try it out when I get home from work. Thank you for the hard work on making the texture pack. One of these days I want to try and make my own but I need something to actually draw the textures, plus I need to look up what all I need to do to make sure it actually works.
Doom - ever thought about throwing your pack up on Customizer? I'd love to use the combiner there to fill in the gaps so I don't have to use default textures on the things you're currently working on.
Your pack is coming along nicely - the mobs, as always, are probably the best around.
Just tried the texture pack out and wow does it look awesome! Kudos on the fantastic job, I really like how everything looks. It is different and yet still keeps the Minecraft feel to it. Here is a diamond for you:

Yeah same here. If a lower resolution pack could be made for those of us with lower-end computer this would be the best pack ever.
