Do you have an idea what textures should be used for each block? I think I'm going to make the current diamond texture into the stone slab texture and use the current stone slab texture for the sandstone.
Do you think the grass should stay as is or make it greener? I'll add a sort of biome support/ shading to give it more variation. I was also thinking about using the clouds layer as a sort of sky by making most of it semi transparent and dark, though it would look weird if people build above the clouds.
I'm having computer "issues" right now for some reason. Gonna need to get a new HD I think. But I haven't gotten to look again at the textures. One thing I did notice, is the lack of a grass texture. There's stuff to use, but most I tried looked weird in game. Also, the whole side grass thing....
I wouldn't use a cloud layer at all. Just change the shadow and vignette. I think Croco is the one that has a good atmosphere set up in his pack...he may use a shadow layer too though.
I'll give it more of a look tonight though, once I get this problem ironed out.

I love Amnesia... I would definately use this pack. This would be great for creepy projects.

Have you considered replacing the old zombie sound files with the sound files from the monstrosities in Amnesia?

Will you be releasing it on 128x128? I have a crappy comp :sad.gif:
I played the penumbra games then played amnesia. And I am still playing though it. I love both penumbra and amnesia and would love to see this done. I actually was thinking of maybe doing something kind of like this my self but with penumbra instead. Maybe you peoples could do that if you get this finished.

This has to be the dumbest post I've ever read on the forum.
Why in the world would you assume that a texture pack is dead less than a day before the thread is created?
Anyway, if you bothered to read the first page, which obviously you didn't, you would know that two people are working on it.
I'd say it's safe to assume that it will be released when it is done.
If they give up for whatever reason I have a playable version 'ready' for release.
Though it does seem that Gestankfaust is making some great progress already, so I don't see it ever coming to that.

Anyone who finishes this pack will be my internet hero forever. Amnesia looks like the textures were made for a 256x256 texture pack. Either way, its gonna be great, and ill be watching this topic like a hawk.
What block is that haha? I don't remember even seeing it in the game before. Were the doors in the objects folder? I couldn't find them before :tongue.gif:
Also, don't expect any sort of updates from me. I'm probably not gonna bother with this pack for a while as I got other stuff going on.
Yeah...they are from Amnesia. Some of the others fit well but are from various other junk I have stored. Possibly as far back as when I did textures for a UT map
