Information:
Hello, My name is David, and today I decided: "Hey, since there are a lot of people making texture packs, why not make my own?". So, I did. So far this texture is in about Alpha. I went for a classic block look for it.
Special Thanks:
Painterly Pack - All items in this pack come from it.
It would be very nice if you showed us some screenshots of your pack being used. Also, if you feel up to it, you should try making your own mobs and items.

WOAH, WAIT. Our eyes take pictures? Please tell me I can recover these pictures from another person.
You have to stick a thumb drive up their nose, drag and drop the pictures onto it, and then load them through your ear.
Thanks, I just now posted a video of the blocks in the texture pack. Also, I do plan on making my own items and mobs, but I'm not sure when I will have the time.
From what I have seen in your video, you are going with a very plain sort of style with low-res gradients (which seem to look somewhat good). The things that you should improve upon are the single color blocks.
You should try to convey how this material is supposed to feel though the usage of shadows, highlights, and midtones in the appropriate shapes and sizes. No block is ever completely one way or the other. The highlights should be a lighter version of the mid-tone and the shadows should be a darker version of the midtone (but can be tinted to the opposite color on color wheel for an interesting effect). Black and white should probably not be your highlights and shadows (especially on the same exact block).
Also, you should always try to aim for perfect tilability (the beginning and end match up when you put them together) and low monotony (noticing the same area on every successive block of the same kind or something like that.) for the best response. Also, it helps to go with a theme of some sort. It doesn't have to be a strict one, just some sort of outline of what sort of style you want to use for your pack.
Also important thing: unless you are trying to make people with sensitive eyes stay away, you should avoid using overly-florescently bright colors in large quantities. That means no lime green grass. Instead, pick something with a lower contrast and a lower saturation, but still retains its color.
I hope that my blocks of text help you out.

Also, I am very new to making texture packs, so please, give constructive criticism.

All is finished except for items. They should be released soon! I also made all of my own mobs!
