pretty good stuff, I don't like the stone, too close to dirt, so I'll whip up an alternative, as for the rock you throw.. I'll make one of those too. cause it is pretty bad, in fact I'll just take a rock out of my own cobblestone spot. that is.. if you're taking item/block donations.

Also, hate to advertise.. but in my signature theres a clan, a guild or group of texture artists, the main goal is really to contribute and help others, so you could get help there, I'm a noob at it and I'm making my first pack, it's pretty good though, and I owe credits for help I've gotten, nobody made blocks for me, they just gave me ideas and ways to think, and one tutorial. Thanks for you stone/rock ideas! I think I will use them if thats okay with you, but I will edit them a bit (I'm not sure if the purple color fits in with the theme). Thanks again everyone for being so interested in this texture pack!

EDIT: I tried the rock and cobblestone, but they look so out of place with my simple textures! Don't get me wrong, these are a huge improvement on mine but unfortunately that is the problem. Thanks anyway mate. to you.

Oh I get it, so your really going for the deserty rural look? Can i sugest when weather comes in that you make snow a sand storm? that would be cool.

You should make the grass more yellowy-orange. green doesn't fit.

Well there are a lot of problems you encounter when trying to change biome colors. Whoever downloaded the textures would need to replace core files to change the grass color and this is a big inconvenience when you want to change the texture pack or remove it.

Also a many people have commented on my stone texture= . I admit it's not perfect but seeing as this was meant to be central Australia then the rock would be dark red: take Uluru as an example.

We need something to be koalas, maybe sheep, and then wool can be fur?

nah, sheep are almost as Aussie as native animals.
I was also thinking with the died wools, you could make them look like they have been painted with ochre or whatever its called, the muddy stuff the aboriginals painted with. And pork should be snags for the BBQ! soup could be a mug of tea :smile.gif:

What will the dispenser be?

I have just come across a problem. I was going to make the furnace a BBQ but... The furnace shares the same top and bottom as the dispenser... So do we want BBQ dispensers or something else?

EDIT: Almost done with terrain! Just need help with dispenser/furnace!

EDITEDIT: Well, I was stuck so I'll just upload V1.3 as it is. Haven't gotten around to doing the Mobs yet so look out for later Versions!

hmmmwell, BBQs have black metal topsto cook on, so you could make a dispencer something that needs a black to to, maybe a darker looking esky or 'trunk' of some kind.
