Hey does anyone know of a mega man battle network texture pack?? I have been googling for some time... and don't see any... would anyone wanna make one? I know a lot of mega man fans would be thrilled! I allready use mega man legends but that is kinda strange to me because I play the battle network games and mega man zero.

I could try to make one at some point after gathering enough experience from This Megaman LEGENDS texture pack (Not to mention how MML tp sounds much better than MMBN, especially with all the digging going on and etc.)

I'm working on a character skin for Megaman.exe. I've got the basic design down for it. I still need to recolor/shade it. I'd like to work on a whole texture pack. I've got some ideas for it. It would be my first experience creating a texture pack though.
- Wolves could be retextured into Spikeys. Not sure about other mobs/animals.
- Ores into BattleChips? Zenny? MysteryCubes?
- Depending on material of sword it could be retextured into Sword, WideSword, LongSword, and LifeSword. Other weapons could made into other Program Advancing BattleChips.
- Bow and Arrows could be Megabuster or Canon. Most likey would be Megabuster.
- Armors could be made into the different styles (Wood, Elec, Grass, Fire, or Aqua).
- Food into Healing BattleChips.

I think animals and enemys should drop battle chips... example : skeleton drops skully battle chip in place of bones... and megabuster bullets (or whatever) in place of [>>-i>] arrows ... I think ores should be mystery data crystals... green data crystal: coal (or if you know of something from mmbn that works better for coal?) blue data crystal: either iron or diamond? gold: should be zennys or a gold data crystal. purple data crystal: could be diamond... or if something else works better for diamond.
those are just some ideas! I really hope you make a pack I would be excited to use it!
Slimes should drop Dark chips lol cause they are rare... call it dark metal gell or something :tongue.gif: idk

well if you have never played Mega man battle network...
it's a chip and you have a pack full of chips that you can select and each one has an attack with a set efect and/or damage to destroy bad guys.

Megaman, please stop double posting, you can edit posts. I'm willing to help you out changes, and even throw in some ideas, but I highly suggest you look above for the MML topic, it could provide some conceptual help. Although one final note; The megaman sprite looks kinda... Horrible. >>
I'm still not sure how the terrain would work out. Most of the cyber world is just colored blocks. Not sure how that'd look in game. Items, characteris, and real world textures yeah. cyberworld Idk. Obsidian could be made into undernet arrows so the portal in between would take you to the undernet/nether
