Hello, I am giving you a link to my newest project, MaineCraft Pack 3.0. It's a sneak peak beta version. Its still heavily "in the works". I'm basically upgrading the pack to a 64x64 pack and completely redoing most of the textures. It has a Hemp theme to it. I'm uploading this beta because quite frankly I was surprised at just how good it looks so far. If you can give any feedback during this creation process i'll be more than happy to recieve it, just make sure its intelligent feedback. :]

Dear Crafters,
I always used the Gerudoku Texture Pack. It was my favorite pack, i eventually started making my own textures though and It became a new pack. It is loosely based off the Gerudoku pack. Many of the item textures and some of the Painting textures are the same, but the terrain textures, gui, and just about everything else I made. Eventually It will become all my original textures. You will need Xau's hd patcher.
sincerely,

No replies??? this texture pack is awesome! not a big fan of the brick-ish styled diamond/gold/iron blocks, i prefer Doku's original textures for them, or something similar, and personally i like the gerudoku style glass more, but the glass texture you have now is fine! Great work, i'm really enjoying this pack

Why thank you, I'm glad you like it. :biggrin.gif:
Not to be rude, but you basically pasted the ingot textures onto the ores and the stone is just one plain, solid block of color.
stone isn't one solid block of color, and I know that i pasted the ingot textures onto the ores, i didn't like the gerudoku ones and hadn't created my own yet.
I <3 this pack!!! it luks incredibleh 4 teh luls!!! *snaps out of ftw drunken stupor* Here take this:
It really does look great!
Constructive Criticism: I like the simple feel of it too, it doesn't try to be too realistic, but it still has some very nice textures and above all, it stays true to the feel of minecraft! i actually kind of like ur c+p ore textures XD you still have some work to go, but keep doing what you are doing!

Let me tell you what you have done wrong, First of all you modeled the pack after Gereduko its more of those mythical rpg packs. Second unlike all modern packs you did not replace the wooden doors with glass doors which is what most people who want a modern pack want. Third the torches are still torches! Nobody in modern times uses torches! I know you said you didnt want to go away from the traditional feel of Minecraft but Minecraft isnt modern so you would have to to create a modern pack. I was disapointed when I was searching for a modern texture pack and found yours I'm a sad Creeper
Whats with some people, this texture pack is awesome did you even made 1 so stop dissing other people's work if u can't do better!! don't mind them u'r awesome diamonds for u

Thanks for the criticism. You're right! I should make my texture pack look like every other texture pack out there!!!!! Why try to be different when you can do what everyone else has already done!!!! like i said..... i wanted it to look slightly more modernized while not drifting from the original feel of minecraft, which is what I've done. I got tired of the rpg textures, but didn't like the modern ones. So i made a combination of both worlds.
You do not have to tell me I made my pack wrong. Just because it wasn't what you were looking for doesn't mean you have to tell me I made it wrong. I have not patience for your ignorant, rude, arrogant, and downright childish behavior.

Thank You! If you have any criticism or ideas to improve the pack just post them here or pm me. I'm always looking for criticism that will help to improve the pack.
First of all, this is a great "HD" texture pack you have here my dear good sir. Though you could make your grass textures better. I realised simmilarity to the Painterly Pack's grass texture. Good work, I'd like to see more!

Thank you, I'll have to check out the painterly packs grass texture, I've never used it before.
I thought I should tell you about some of your textures being used in this compilation. You weren't originally credited (nobody was), but the author posted credits after three people told him to (myself included). After that I told him he really ought to get permission from the people whose work he's using, and this was his response.

If the owners got a download link means they give permission, and if they don't give permission they can remove the download link or write red and bigger letters in the main post that they don't give permission. Well that might not be true but that's what's on bumpmaft as i remember :biggrin.gif:
well he still needs to credit them
I just figured you should know this. I'm going to post this in the other threads he credited, because I think those authors should know, too.

Thanks, I was going for a modern feel without going too far away from the traditional look of minecraft.

Thank You! If you have any criticism or ideas to improve the pack just post them here or pm me. I'm always looking for criticism that will help to improve the pack.
Can any of you 350 crafters tell me of any faults, errors, annoyances, or anything other information I can use to make it even better?
On another note, I have been considering working on making this a 64x64 texture pack, would this be liked or disliked?
Thank you, I'll have to check out the painterly packs grass texture, I've never used it before.
