--- About the Unofficial Jolicraft 128p ----------
The original Jolicraft was made by Jolicoeur. For the longest time I had no desire to spend any time on graphics editing, but then came along this beautiful texture pack. I actually was a big fan of AaGeOn's BumpMaft pack, but was discontinued just after I decided to take on this little project. I have no intention of changing any of the original textures by Jolicoeur. This is simply a 128p version with a little smoothing. Each and every icon / texture was redone individually. Once again all credit should be given to Jolicoeur for he's an amazing artist.
--- Features -------------------------------------------
· Custom swirly smoke/explosion animation
· Strange & ominous "pumpkin" stones
· "Andre the Wanderer" character skin included (char.png in the mob folder)
· Built in WildGrass support
· All terrain items
· GUI & hud
· Moody custom clouds
· All Passive mobs
· All No-So-Passive mobs
· Boat, cart, sign, sun, moon, bed, pumpkinblur, biomes, et cetera, and more!
--- Installing Jolicraft 128p --------------------------- Easy:
Do to the nature of texture packs larger than 16p this can't be installed the easy way.
Advanced:
Step 1 - Download Jolicraft 128p to your desktop from one of the mirrors above.
Step 3 - Download the latest ModLoader 1.4_01 to your desktop. This is for the side grass fix and I recommend it for this texture pack.
Step 4 - Download the latest BetterER Grass 2.52 to your desktop. This is for the additional grassy look in your world and really adds a wonderful touch.
Step 5 - Download the ModLoader + BetterERGrass Fix to your desktop. This is to make it so ModLoader works with BetterER Grass, just be sure to follow the correct order in the next step. :happy.gif:
Step 6 - I'm sure most people are aware how to apply a custom pack with the MCPatcher. Make sure you are working with a fresh BIN folder. Open up your minecraft.jar with a zip program... First delete the META-INF folder from with in. From here you want to drag and drop all the files from with in the ModLoader and Grass Fix.zip into your minecraft.jar. Next you'll want to drag and drop all the files inside the BetterERGrass 2.52.zip under the /1 Texture Version/With BG into your minecraft.jar... You should only be copying four files total from that specific zip file. Finally, you will want to copy over the one file from the ModLoader + BetterERGrass.zip into your minecraft.jar...
Step 7 - Now you can close your zip program and proceed to the MCPatcher. Simply double click the mcpatcher-1.1.12_02.exe and click the Browse button next the the Texture Pack Box. It will automatically select 128x128 and from here you simply click the big Patch button. After you see Success Probably you can close out the MCPatcher and begin playing minecraft.
Alts:
These are not included in this texture pack for its simply setup like the original Jolicraft. If requested in the future I may port over all the _alt textures, but I really wanted to get this up and see what people thought.
--- Version History--------------------------------------
· 2.8_01 - First version for the Unofficial Jolicraft 128p. There may be various glitches etc so please let me me know all that you find. I actually redid this pack 3 times over till it got to where I thought it was presentable. If you wish to check a version history of the original Jolicraft please click HERE.
--- Q&A -------------------------------------------------- I noticed you did nothing with the char.png file, why is this?
Well I simply only play on Multiplayer with the skins loaded from minecraft.net so they have to remain the original 16p. If someone really wants Joli's skin redone in 128p I could surely do it if there were enough requests, but i just don't find it required >.<
More Coming Soon!

· ModLoader and Grass Fix - In case you missed the link above, this is required to make ModLoader work with BetterER Grass.
--- Final Thoughts ---------------------------------
I'd like to thank Jolicoeur again for making the original Jolicraft. I'll be improving on this pack as well as coming up with other ideas as well. If people request it I will update the original Minecraft graphics to 128p my way, but only if it would become a popular thing. I also thought about doing like a Black 'n' White texture pack with things like mobs / items would be in color but that is only an idea atm. I will be doing an original 16p texture pack within the next month and this will be converted to 128p as well. Please do enjoy and let me know what you think.
--- Other Images --------------------------------- Sunset: Simple shot over the water, couldn't really resist... Inventory Screen: Brief look at what the inventory screen looks like. Basic Cabin: Just threw together a quick little cabin with a bed / crafting table. Giant Hole: Stumbled across this hole of smooth stone made by the generator. Cactus: The one thing that actually didn't get blown up by creepers while I worked on this pack. Redstone Dust: Showing off the active dust. Creeper: Only a few seconds left to live... Title Screen: This just shows the pretty font from Misa's texture pack :happy.gif: The Moon: Coming out of a cave, showing off a nice cliff shot of the moon. Small House: It has a bit of everything and some wonderful paintings. Cracking: Off to get some sand so I can make some glass for the house. Animals: Went to get some sand for a few minutes and came back to this... Cave: Busted through a couple sandstone which lead to coal and a bunch of pathways. Paintings: They had to be made somehow, just wanted to spiff up the house. The Pig: Showing off the wonderful BetterER Grass mod... Yellow: Flowers in the distance, but the true attention is the original item squares.
Went ahead and uploaded a few more pictures... I haven't really had time to play any games lately so I just went around and took a couple quick shots. Creepers blew up something i was working on to display all the blocks, but I'll get back to that eventually :happy.gif:
I could easily scale the 128p down to 64p / 32p... Over the next week or so I'll play around with it and see if I can get it looking good without taking too much time. I just noticed that so many people were after this pack in a larger scale. The only 16p pack that I have ever used was Jolicraft and many have said the same thing. Just keep an eye on this post I'll update it accordingly.
Well that was kinda the idea. I didn't want to change anything, but simply upscale it and try to smooth the corners a little. The goal was to produce something similar to the Super Eagle Filter effect. I tried many many filters and combinations to get something that I liked running 1920x1080. Eventually I had to pick something that I thought looked good and I went with it. Each individual block / icon was done one by one to ensure everything tiles smoothly. I'm sure there are some glitches etc like in the water, but this is my first project. Jolicraft gave me motivation to do something and I'll be working on an original soon enough :happy.gif:
Going to put up a few more screenshots was messing around for a bit on a new game. It's not simply a blur filter, but I won't go into details on that. As far as making it unique, that is all going to be saved for my next project which will be finished sometime mid April if all goes well. I would like to get more feedback on what people think who have been using it in game. It's very much appreciated =D
As you said, you didn't changed anything, allright, but you didn't really remade the textures to fit the 128 resolution, I mean you made the pixels bigger and smoother. I see that it's not good IMO when I see tha art textures.
I expected such thing, maybe 32 or 64 but not this way. I prefer the original 16p but I admit you did fine work on it.
Sorry for those of you who don't like it... I am experimenting with ways to upscale any texture pack and as far as the blur, it was something that I thought blended it decently. Anyway, this was mainly for me to see how all the images work and I may take another stab at it or simply start working on my next project which I was going to start today. The sheep was done a bit more custom which gave a little better look. IMO the screenshots don't do justice and it seems my computer is putting some kinda haze on them.
( As far as your grass problem, this pack is designed to work with ModLoader (with the grassfix) and BetterER Grass is recommended but not required. Just make sure you have the correct ModLoader and install them in a proper order. )
i have install modloader
then betterergrass 2.52
then modloader+grass fix
then allways the bug
Are you sure you have the ModLoader that has the grass fix built into it? Maybe try skipping the BetterER Grass mod and the BG Fix all together, just try the Modloader w/ Grassfix and that should work fine... After that is working then you can throw in betterer grass with its modloader fix.

this is for you :DD
All the textures look less sharp and smudged.
