Any of you Alpha Minecrafter's miss the old cheerful grass and tree colors? I know I do. So I compiled a texture edit to recreate it! This will be updated as soon as possible on all updates. Compatible with: Minecraft Beta 1.4_01

Screens: Pines are a darker shade of the original green.

And as the Nintendo Zelda team sat around the table, they started duscussing the 3DS Zelda plotline. Then they realized, they were only recreating it. They were all sad. Directed by M. Night Shyamalan.
So you just edited grasscolor.png and foliagecolor.png?
It would be nice if you brought the old furnace back too.
Great idea! And yea. Most people don't know about it, and I wanted an easy way to keep alpha-ing it. :smile.gif: Expect that fix in a little bit. :smile.gif:

Would you mind putting up the png files from tiny pic or something? Mediafire has failed me.. Rar doesn't work with my Mac for some reason. -.-
Thanks!
Downloading right now.
I assume you use Xau's patcher for custom biome shading or just copy into minecraft.jar?
Edit:
Very nice!
You can change the instructions in the Readme for navigating to the bin folder to:
Find the Run bar (WinKey+r)
Run %appdata%/.minecraft/bin
That will bring you directly to the bin folder, and will help people that have show hidden folders disabled (By default .minecraft is hidden)
Also it has fewer steps.
But anyway, very nice texture. I would have make it myself, but you already made it.
I must say, it feels unnatural to have smooth lighting and unshaded leaves. And birch trees with the same leaves.
If you guys are interested in the most modern, 1.6.6 version, I have a video on my channel. Search Kingwyatt5000 and you'll see it. Let me know what you guys think and I'll set up some way to get you guys the files and let you know how to do it.
