Updated for the 1.5_01 patch.
I also changed some textures; redstone doesn't look like a gradient anymore, stone looks less obnoxious, I tried something different with torches, sand stone is no longer a recoloring of stone slabs, and now each type of tree has it's own trunk texture.
However, if you preferred the old textures, they can be manually replaced, just take the desired textures out of the alt.png file and copy them into the terrain.png.
I appreciate all the positive feedback! :biggrin.gif:
Just wanted to say, this is my favorite texture pack. I didn't actually want to play Minecraft till you updated it :tongue.gif:
Thanks for making it :happy.gif:

Your friendly neighborhood Kingpin here...
Just wanted to give my endorsement for this texture pack. I personally try to only use 16x16 packs, and am always on the look out for talented work. I like the vibe of this pack. Its dark and kinda digital with out going overboard and really meshes the two quite well. This is a complete package. In a sea of half-assed modified painterly re-visionings, making a complete pack counts for a lot. Some of the GUIs are a little too busy for my taste. And maybe try your hand a making a biome triangle for the grass/foliage. They add another layer of customization, and can make the pack look that much better.
Fantastic work that really fits together as a whole. Thanks for sharing your hard work.
Thanks for the praise, sir!
I plan on, in the future, doing items and font.
I suppose I could add biome colors to the list.
However, I have no idea how to lay them out, I'll have to research it when I decide to do it.
By the way I've updated the pack.
All I added was alternate textures for pumpkins to make them look like cardboard boxes.
The textures aren't set by default they have to be manually placed into the terrain.png from the alt.png.
A pretty useless update. I just wanted to make Fort Kickass.
Looooooooooooooove it!!!!so glad u made wolves dogs!!! i loooooooooooooooo0oooooooooove cuddle fish. <3 you for this pack!!!! i just had an idea... it's like flameing.. but with POSITIVENESS!!! eh???
Love this texture pack! I have plans for it in the future.
The only thing i have a small problem with is the text when you are looking at, let's say, a dispenser. It is all grey and blends in with the background. Is there any chance for the text to be a bit noticeable?
=)

The Cossack
I'm pretty sure this has absolutely nothing to do with the texture pack. Do you have any mods installed?
Unzip minecraft.jar.
Take out all the images.
Change them in an image editor.
Zip the files into a zip file.
Put it in the texture pack folder.
Viola.

I don't have the error.
What OS are you running? And do you have any mods installed?
On a side note, I added a banner. (Finally)

Thank you!
And, you can use it. It's YOUR pack, and I respect it if you use this pic on the main page. =D
