Sorry to say this, but I really don't like this texture pack. The whole thing feels... tacky. It seems as if you made a normal colored texture pack and then bumped up the saturation WAY too much in Photoshop. The dirt is garish, as are the grass sides when playing on fast graphics. The tall grass is very ugly and doesn't fit the style of the rest of the pack at all. Same with the wheat. The monotone torches don't match anything. Same with the flowers. The wood is also hard on the eyes. I think the logs have a little too much contrast and are too similar to the original. The bricks are too bright and contast-y to go with the rest of the pack.
One thing I do enjoy is the smooth stone. I like the "pixelated" option, however, it is near impossible to tell it apart from the gravel in low light.
I think one of your biggest issues is having most of your textures fairly noisy and then trying to fit non-noisy small objects (torches, flowers, tall grass, wheat, redstone torches, etc) in with them. The contrast between them is just terrible.
Glad you like it Insig! And sorry that you don't like it Cave.
I'm thinking about setting up a paypal donation thingy for those who want to "inspire" me to keep working on this. :3
Really good idea but if you can, make it more realistic! some of the textures are looking so... omm... i can"t explain it!Anyway i will download it then! :smile.gif:
Well, it isn't meant to be a realistic pack. I'm probably not going to completely change it to be realistic, because I actually enjoy the style of it. Sorry!
You have do download them from the main post. The customizer doesn't support aether from what I know. So, you'll need to download them from the main post, in the "Aether Mod" spoiler part. Sorry for the inconvenience! :happy.gif:

there is no link to the texture pack. just to the aether mod itself.
Very nice work man, Suggestion? I say make the reeds a tad less bright and space out the stalks a little bit c:
I'll add an alt for it.
As for that survey problem, I'm not sure what it is. I'll add an alternate direct link. Sorry about whatever it's doing. I use firefox+adblock, so I don't even see adfly ads. So... Yeah. I'll add a direct link below it.
In need of ideas for Alt textures in the customizer! Any and all ideas will be used!!
Me loving being first at stuff, I have made Fiftyninecraft the first pack to be compatible with the amazing Aether Mod! Check the "Aether Mod" Spoiler tab for more. (Aether textures are not available from the customizer! You need to download them from the "Aether Mod" section below!)
Want to play some Minecraft with me? Go to the server "mc.liquidcraft.net" (That's the IP!) and say hi! I'd love to meet some of my fellow forumers, so come in and build and have fun! I'm usually on around 10:00AM-4:00PM and 9:00PM-3:00AM (EST)
Hello fellow minecrafters. Today I present you with my (in my opinion) awesome texture pack. Now that I'm in 3.0, there's an awesome customizer available, thanks to Bramamine and Kaiassc, doing a great job with the website minecraftcustomizer.net! Thanks for making a great site and making my hopes and dreams of a customizer for my pack possible!
Also, with 3.0 I've formatted the thread to be more compact and easier to navigate. This should make finding what you want in the main post way easier.
If you download it, please leave a comment! I want to know what I could change to make it better, and what you think of it. Thanks!
If you really enjoy my pack and would like to inspire me to work even harder on it, you can now give me a donation via Paypal! I'd really appreciate it. :biggrin.gif:
Whatever block you suggest, I'll make. I love being able to please the community and create some really cool stuff. So... suggest away!
Aether Mod
I just had to do it. Fiftyninecraft is now compatible with the Aether Mod, after the mod being out for less than five hours!
The theme of my textures were mainly giving the same feel and atmosphere as the default aether textures while adding my own touch.
To add my Aether Textures, download the, er, download below, and follow the instructions posted below it. http://www.mediafire...ixvpny796j26w23
To Install:
1. Extract fiftynineaether folder
2. Open folder mentioned above
3. Copy the folder named "aether"
4. Paste into your Fiftyninecraft zip folder.
The aether folder should be in with art, gui, misc, etc.
Screenshots coming in a bit. Just wanted to get this up now. Enjoy!

First of all, here is my Terrain.png file. This is all of my hard work, and months of updates and love for all of you, all put on a 256x256 canvas. To make it, I used the program Paint.net. I really recommend it. It's a wonderful tool for graphics, and I've used it for about four years or something now. And it's capable of some really cool stuff. (Currently shows 2.9)
And while I'm showing you images from the zip folder:
Oh, and at request of a poster, here's the kz.png (paintings).
Hope you like how it looks! Here are some pictures of it in action: I've finally updated the screenshots! The screenshots show mainly 2.8.

Hmmmmm...... maybe steampunk or futuristic alt options for pistons, torches, and nether stuff?
Whoa, this is cool.
It's a lot more refined than the default textures, like Steve finally figured out how mo make things straight. (especially the ladders, they are AWESOME!)

You need to use firefox on the customizer page. it's the only browser I know that works to download.
you are correct. the customizer does not give the aether textures.
there is no link to the texture pack. just to the aether mod itself.
Fixed. I accidentally put a second link to the Aether thread. Mediafire link is now up!
Very nice texture pack, 59er.
Glad you like it!
I'm making a texture pack: (16x) Silent Night
I'll add an alt for it.
As for that survey problem, I'm not sure what it is. I'll add an alternate direct link. Sorry about whatever it's doing. I use firefox+adblock, so I don't even see adfly ads. So... Yeah. I'll add a direct link below it.
