So I've taken the blocks on the terrain.png reserved for the Black, Dark Gray, Red and Pink and formed them into one white mega block. I know some people have already created Flynn's hideout, but I really didn't like the way the hexagonal beehive pattern was completely messing up my worldview. I'm probably going to do the same thing for the back wall and ceiling tiles. I actually took the texture for the glowstone, enlarged it to one 128x128 megablock and darkened the edges for a really nice looking glowy square.
I've taken the Stone texture and canted it/added pieces from itself so that it more closely resembles the stone from the movie.
Also took the glass texture and added some more beads but removed some here and there as to not be too gaudy.
When it comes to build Flynn's Hideout I'm going to be using a terrain editor to make one giant mountain of stone, and then from there actually carve it out. I'm kind of cheating by making the mountain, but I'm still going to be doing all the work of carving it out myself. I'll be posting this modified terrrain.png in a few days after I'm positive that the changes I'm making will actually show up this way once used in the wild (In Minecraft heh).
I love what you've done with the pack. Though I have a few personal gripes (same as the original, really. >.>) in order of annoyance.
At night in desert biomes it's very, very, VERY dark, especially when you consider the fact your eyes are adjusting to the ambient light given off by the stars/moon (which is very pretty, by the way...can't remember if it was in the original... >.>) and not the pitch black sand. But I'm likely just one of the few nutters who likes living in the desert. :tongue.gif:
It's rather difficult to tell the difference between dirt and stone when digging underground at minimum needed light levels, something distinctive in one or the other that doesn't make it look horrible would be nice.
Water and lava look very out of place, but I understand that that may be more difficult.
For the dirt and stone, if you have an imaging software, like Photoshop or Gimp, you can brighten up the blocks that you want to be brighter. If you would like, I can upload another download with brighter dirt, stone and cobble. I prefer myself to use the brighter colors, but for the sake of others, I make it dark, so you can change it later if you would like.
Well, they're mostly small annoyances that I'm just being picky about. I also forgot I had "GIMP" installed (I attempted condensing my applied lunacy into digital form and quickly discovered I was too lazy.) Thanks for reminding me!

Sounds like you're going to start your own texture pack as well. lol. Do as you will; when you're done, please send me a screenshot. I want to see your work of art.
Alright, got the title set in, edited a bit to fit the T, using the blue one. I'll show you guys later if we have anymore updates going on. As for the skellie, i think its good enough; i don't really know how to change it to a black gaurd, and when i see it in game, it already gives me the chills. :biggrin.gif:
Yeah you should probably delete those armor files, I don't remember where/who I got them from I was just using them as a guide. You can see that the diamond armor is half changed, I forgot that I had that in my edit release.
The 3 saplings:
blue = normal
green = spruce
white = birch
And then just the Powered and Un-powered rails.
you may want to make them look better though the Powered/Un-powered rails don't really match the normal ones I just used the redstone texture and the saplings aren't very round.
1.5 should be out this week some time don't know when though.
I'll add those in when 1.5 rolls around. Thank u for the saplings, but i don't understand about the powered and unpowered rails... care to explain how those might work?
Awesome pack! I see that the pigman, pigzombie and ghasts have not been modified yet. I'd like to propose the skin for the pigzombie to be a program infectedby the Abraxas virus and for the ghast skin to be a .recognizer. I think the classic would be easier as it'l fit the multiple tentacles better. Classic Legacy

Seeing that if two efforts are going to be made in reviving the Tron texture pack why not combine them?
Most of you should know about the painterly texture pack and its ability to allow users to customize it to their liking.
See where I am going?
One thing I would hate is seeing amazing things from both projects, but having to choose one over the other. Being able to mix and match textures just seems like an awesome ability to have, giving a more custom experience for the fans of this texture pack.

Interesting... I can see how the infected would go with the zombie pigman, but for the Recongnizer as a Ghast... It's going to look incredibly strange. I would like something that is not inanimate. But great idea all around. I could work on that. Mobs currently are what im going to be working on.

Jeb mentioned them I don't know much more than you.
they're suppose to boost and brake mine carts I assume.
Look up Mine carts MK2 to get some idea, Jeb said that they would be different though.
Here's a "crappy" font file that I made in 2 seconds it looks cool in game but in the menus, everything turns green when you hover over it which looks a bit weird.
I like this. This is the only Tron-related pack I like.
May I make some suggestions though?
• Bucket, replace with a floppy disk. The magnetic strip can either be grey (empty), red (lava), blue (water) or white (milk). It's like when you use them you're modifying the data.
• With the tools, I think you should get a bit more creative. For example, I think they could be the same as swords, but the "light" part extends into the shape of the axe, shovel, etc as well as being the length of the handle.
• You could have the current Diamond suit become the leather suit (because it's "normal") and make the diamond suit more interesting, in my opinion.
Feel free to completely disregard these suggestions if you don't like them.

And BTW I made that creeper skin also.

Trust me it was way worst before, it only had 9 squares in it, its a lot more visible now than it was.
