i made a few renderings of a classic Recognizer though,if you're interested. i think it'd fit the nether feel if you can resize it and get it to work.... im not too good with mobs because i dont know the layout. plus it took me a WHILE to make this as close as possible to the original one, so i might as well show it to you.
heres a blank one.... you can recolor it and it doesnt have the glow or internal color if the blacks too dark....

You should give it a look and maybe consider adding it to the texture pack.

Working on the ghast now... as for the tron dog thing, I'm going to make it the default one, make some edits for the angry and tame versions, and keep the old one in an alternatives folder.

I mean, the whole idea is good, but I'm going to have to take elements from it, I can't remake it. It's going to look really blocky, and end up looking like the ghasts i made... or if someone else could try, then we can compare.

Apparently it's some kind of enemy in the Tron Evolution game... that's what I thought too. Looks like something you would see in a Nightmare Before Christmas pack.
In addition, you can see how my advertisment is trying to emulate a button to download the file complete with its own timer animation (Which counts down again if you haven't clicked it). This is definitely an advertisment as it only comes up in rotation with the other advertisments, and the address it points to is formatted like the other advertisments.
Exactly where it points, I don't know - I didn't click it. But you would have to wonder what kind of legitimite business would serve advertisments like this.
While I appreciate you wanting to earn some money for your efforts (which I remain thoroughly impressed with, binary rain ftw), please be aware that by using adf.ly you are not only alienating your potential users, and also placing them in danger with rogue advertisments.
I hope you reconsider your decision - Perhaps offering a paypal donation button would be a nice alternative?

perhaps something other than the recognizers? maybe like one of the air vehicles, i forgot the various ships names? lightjet is it, i mean it would fit in more with the gahst attack style, but probably just as hard to skin.

The thing with paypal is that you need money in your account to donate. By clicking a link, it's simple and quick. As for the other advertisements, I advise not using Internet Explorer. It's built-in website and popup blocker are obsolete. I use Google Chrome, and the advertisements get blocked by it. You can also download a extension for it that further makes sure you don't get weighed down with unnecessary advertisements. But if you insist, then I will add a donate link, but I don't know if people are willing to donate that way.
