Very nice. Although the black edges seem slightly out of place... it makes it look real, yet kinda sharp on the edges.
If you get what i mean. Maybe outline the edges with a faint tint of purple?

the edges of the block itself? or of the design pattern? because there is a tinge of purple around the circuitry to give it a 'glow'.

I have edited the arrows myself, so I know it is possible. I didn't change that much, but theoretically, couldn't you make a low-res disk-like arrow? I haven't tried messing around with it too much myself.

I'm going to need something to copy off of. Otherwise, I have no idea how it's supposed to look, since I can't find a model in the minecraft.jar. If someone has something like this up, give it to me, and I can fix it up to work with Tron.
As for the arrows, I can make them so that they are disks, but they are extremely small... it's almost impossible to see them. I suggest maybe adding a tail for them, so as to identify them easier. Would it be alright to make a disk with a tail of light coming out of it? Or maybe not even a disk at all, but a sword of light.

Im 110% for making it something els (and the bow to) I dont think bows can meat the EPICNESS of a disk :/
