FINALLY, i literally spent about four-five hours trying to get this to work, it was grey the entire time, scrolled through the comments and found a solution, it was still pretty unclear to me, your instructions arent the problem since clearly others can do it easily, but i finally got it working (the problem was i couldnt go into a file and compress them)
I love this, i scrolled through a ton of packs and yours is the only one that got my attention.

after playing for a couple days on the pack, i love everything, the only thing i sort of dont like is that the diamond sword is a staff, i was hoping for an awesome looking sword but was slightly let down. (although it was still pretty cool)

their are alternate swords on the item.png, if you know how to switch out textures, you can use one of them instead.

Edit: nope, no idea how lol.
it's a lengthy description, but if you search tyken132 on youtube, he has a tutorial for it.
edit: in the next pack update, i'll add an alternate items.png with an ornate diamond sword. swapping them will then require only the renaming of the original items.png to anything else, and the itemsalt.png renamed to items.png
and sorry if this is a dumb question, im very new at this, but to get the update do i have to re-download the pack?

I just installed this pack with MC Mod Installer... And the words are all messed up. And by the words I mean the names of my worlds and the text on the buttons and items. Is it supposed to be that way, or do I need the HD patcher?

Also, i know you're prolly sick of me and my inputs but i'll just throw this last one out there, you should make the gold armor a little more noticeable or more..armory. i know it doesnt give good protection but it has the potential to look really cool.
next update should be in a few days, and will have completed mobs! meaning all that will be left will be a handful of items, finishing up the armor, and misc stuff, like shadows, minecarts, portal animations, etc.

Cant get this one to work. image is grayed out when selecting the texture pack and only will show the default textures in game. Have other texture packs and they work fine, even the HD ones, I did patch it. Even tried the alternate download with no luck.
I like where this pack is going. I did notice an artifact on the stone shovel at the top right area. You don't really notice it until you use the shovel. Will keep checking in to see how this one is progressing.
probably not in the next few updates, but eventually there will be one.
okay, ill wait it out then, that's the only problem i remotely have with it. i messed around with other texture packs like Doku's and such, but they just don't have the same feel as this one.
