im working on a texture pack and instead of goggling textures like i tried to do with my last texture pack and failed im going to start from scratch.
heres what i have done so far
i have stone, cobble, mossy cobble, all the ores except lapiz lazul, and bedrock done.
most of the ores look like crap right (mainly the gold) now but its late and i wanted to get something done.
i have completed 18.34% of the pack so far.
EDIT: i know have cloth/dirt/grass/water/torch/lever done as well as flowing water.
EDIT: i now have lava/lightstone/redstone/aniamted lava/animated portals done.
"i might remove animated portals as they dont look good right now, will experiment to see if i can get a good texture."
i am currently using glimmars steampunk pack as placeholders.

tell me what you guys think so far. also what you guys think about the name for the texture pack? so far everything ive seen in game is easy on the eyes unlike alot of other packs.
Just to tell ya, you shouldn't bump your own thread for no good reason. There's an edit button for that.
That being said, this texture pack does look quite interesting and different, and it looks pretty much complete, at least for the terrain.png. Did you really make everything yourself? And do you plan on changing the UI, inventory item icons and stuff?

Razer, you have some interesting edits going on there, but you need to make it a little clearer in your OP that most of the textures in your pack are by me. Otherwise it's a little confusing for folk to know what you did and what is still work from my Glimmar's Steampunk texture pack. :smile.gif:
The last thing I want to do is to put you off making your own pack, but I'd appreciate a link back to my thread in your OP while using any of my textures, so that folk understand where your coming from.
