They are not in my collections yet, they are pretty new. Just right click the template, save it to your whatever. Rename to be appropriate thing in your wolf variations folder. And drag it to your mob folder. There's only the tame versions for those so far (hopefully all three forms of everything will be done by the end of the week) so you're going to have to find another skin you want to be the wild and angry versions.
I'll get the other forms to you soon so they will look right :smile.gif:

It seems like you are using Nandonalt's wolves extended mod with these skins. If you are could you upload your .txt files? If you aren't then I will just make my own.
Why are you doing this? Do you get some sick thrill out of making a dog skin.
I enjoy it... gave me something to do. I just like doing computer "art" and there are WAY more requests for this than anything else. I'm taking a break to make a texture pack, so maybe I'll find that more satisfying than this, who knows? Plus, it's a great time killer and it's SO EASY, lol.
I'm seriously surprised more people don't make their own stuff. Seriously, I urge people to try this, it's really not that difficult. Last time I did anything like this on the computer it was just barely the 90's and I was playing on Photoshop at my mom's work, home sick from kindergarten, bored, making some scribbles, some shitty art, writing my name, and waiting to go home. Twenty one years later I played with GIMP for like 10 minutes and made my first skin (which has been downloaded over ten thousand times!).

If you're just tuning in, you may not have noticed just how much DJ's skins have improved over the last few weeks. Practice makes perfect, as they say - as any artist does, the more you work on your art, the more it shows!
As for why dogs? My guess would be "because someone had to". There were precious few wolf skins when DJ started this project, and there still aren't too many artists working on them. Everyone and their pet creeper are making a texture pack, it's nice to see something different.

just as a... pro tip kinda.. the HD patch (32+) and wolf variations kinda go together but not 100% there is no animated water/lava/portals (imo the best part) (at least last time i checked.) but i'd love to test so count me on board :smile.gif:

i guess it was another mod i went mod crazy/hd texture crazy at the same time somewhere along the line the patcher broke and. just hd patcher and wolves extended works

The slyfox thing not the teckel thing. Basically a teckel is a dachshund but a little shorter and maybe a little taller. I made a dachshund skin which has to be re-sized using Nandonalt's wolf variations mod. A little tweaking and you have a teckel (unless you want a different color, which I'll be doing skins again June 1st)
