Might not do any wolves tonight (I'll try to do at least one before bed), these mobs are taking longer than expected... For Your Patience
Ok i probably did something wrong but i downloaded it and put it in my mob folder in minecraft.jar but when i play minecraft i don't have the wolves that you made only the wolves for nadanalts mod. please help i really want this
"If you have Nandonalt's mod, you need to make files for those wolves in the "wolf variations" folder. Just open one of the existing wolves and point it to the texture you put in minecraft.jar, and you can use multiple wolves."
Basically what hubby's trying to say is...
Open your wolf variations folder. Click on the first wolf. You'll get something that looks like this (depending on which one you click):
The top one is for wild, next is for tame, next is for angry (obviously). Just delete the name portion of the top line and replace it with the name of the wild wolf you want it to look like. I.E. instead of "WolfWildTexture=mob/brownwolf.png" put "WolfWildTexture=mob/boxer_wild.png" if you want that dog to be the boxer. Rinse and repeat for the tame and angry versions.
Now sizes can be tweaked and speed can be tweaked, all preferences are up to you :smile.gif: (Remember 1 is default wolf settings).
Remember, leave the names the same! It's much easier. The only thing you want to do is remove any spaces in the name and replace with an underscore to make them mod worthy.
Now, to change your wolf list :smile.gif:
Just save the file as the name of the wolf you just added in, and add it to this list (while removing any you don't want). Don't forget the semi-colon.
Then drag the skin into the mob folder in your minecraft.jar. Don't rename it!!! Leave it the name that you used when adding it to wolf variations.
DONE!!!

Not only is this not possible because there are only 4 limbs available, but I wouldn't do it even if I could. There are children on this forum, come on...

Yeah, there's a list. I do it by order asked for most of the time (sometimes I skip difficult ones and come back later to it). I'm sure you've seen the list. It's just a few posts above yours. I'll do yours within a few days when I get to it.

"Although your grammar makes you look like you're in Kindergarten. No offense."
Sorry for pointing that out, lulz, but that was my first good laugh of the day :biggrin.gif:
Thanks that worked :smile.gif: I have one problem that i just noticed when i tame a wolf he goes all white and it's the same when I make a untamed one angry
WolfWildTexture=mob/Rottweiler.png
WolfTamedTexture=mob/Rottweiler_tame.png
WolfAngryTexture=mob/Rottweiler_angry.png
WolfSizeX=1.2F
WolfSizeY=1.2F
WolfSizeZ=1.2F
Speed=1F
Is that right or did i do something wrong ? I will keep looking into it
You have to drag the tamed, untamed, and wild forms all into the mob folder, and their names have to be exactly the same in nandonalt's list as they are in the mob folder
(make sure the wild one is named Rottweiler.png, the tamed is named Rottweiler_tame.png, and the angry is named Rottweiler_angry.png)
