Hi Everyone! this is my informative video showing you how to make your own Minecraft Texture Pack, or edit your own, whatever. I hope this video helps all of you
Alright we need to get to your minecraft.jar folder.. to get here you need to hit windows key and r and it should bring up Run. once Run is open i need you to type %appdata% then your .minecraft folder should be the first one in the list. Make a copy of it and send it to your desktop.
Step two getting to your pictures so you can edit them
Now that you have your .minecraft folder on your desktop you can now enter it. double click on the folder and go to bin, once your in bin go to the folder that sais Minecraft. Right click on it and go to 7zip and select open archive. Now that you are in the 7zip archive you can now get to the pictures and edit them! Alright now we need a way to make a folder so that we can just click on the pictures and it opens up in paint.net or any other program you wish to use... Press Ctrl + A, this will select all of the files in your minecraft.jar folder. Now click on Extract, then select a location you wish to extract to I highly suggest you create a new folder on desktop and extract everything to there...
now that you have your own seperate folder with all your archives from the minecraft.jar folder you can directly edit and replace the photo's in your minecraft.jar folder... but first you will want to make it so that when you click on a photo you want to edit it will open up in a editing program of your choice... go to your folder you just extracted all of your archives to and go to (gui) and right click (Items.png) then select (properties) and where it sais opens with you will select your editing program. So now when you click on the photo you wish to edit it will automatically open up with your paint program...
Selecting your photo to edit...
alright now if you want to edit the looks of the items you will want to go to, your minecraft.jar then select (gui) and right click on items.png...... NOW YOU CAN EDIT THE LOOKS OF YOUR ITEMS! once you are done editing the photo to your likings, click on save as and save it as a .png photo if it already isnt. now it will update the looks of the item into minecraft!
Congratulations you can now make and edit your own objects into minecraft!

For people just starting with arts, this can be very difficult. I don't suggest using this method, but it is according if you can work with art.
and for the vid you use
