It's great to see that you set it up. And, I'm suspecting you know that I found you, and favorited you, before you even published the pack. *teehee*
Anyway, here are some key things, which I would like to see added, bolds are "important", and further explained why.
The "Negatives"
Make the pack public!
Add happier/brighter textures!
Add small cobblestone bricks
Add cobblestone with more distinctive lines
Add a more plain-looking trap door (without the dot in the middle)
Add differently-colored bed icons
Add a more distinctively red netherrack
Add a more "natural" looking glowstone
Add unfaced pumpkins (which has a glowy look to'em, as Jack'O'Lanterns)
Add snow which overlaps the grass
Add a firey obsidian
*Make the pack public!
I can see why this option may scare you, but honestly, it is one of my most favored parts of the entire customizer.
By checking "public" you allow people to use your textures in their own texture packs -- their own private use texture packs. This means, that you can go to the "Customize" page, and pick e.g. the art from one pack, which you believe suits your pack better.
Having it "private" also disallow people to preview all the textures. They'll only see the textures which there are alternate textures for, and not all the other wonderful ones - thus, one of the amazing features of the Customizer is lost: Previewing textures, individually.
*Add happier/brighter textures!
This varies greatly from the style of your pack, but it is personally something I miss. I sometimes want a high-quality 16x texture pack, which does not scream "Life ins't worth living.." in my face. Or, sulks, rather.
The "Positives"
You added Minecraft Customizer support!
The cross-planks looks amazing!
Charles is funny looking.
Many various trapdoors!
Wood for almost every needs.
*You added Minecraft Customizer support!
It's just.. Yeah. Customizations for the win.
Again, sorry for me often having the negativities overpower the positivities. It's sadly the way my constructive criticism works.

The problem with making my pack public is that I don't want to give permission for people to use textures I didn't make. If I could disable those textures, I'd be more then happy to allow people to do whatever they want with mine. In fact I've always encouraged people to edit/remix using my pack.
1: Contact the original texture owners, and ask them for permission to use, and make them public, in the Minecraft Customizer.
2: Make your own textures, to replace the original ones.
3: Upload all textures individually, instead of "by Filename". WAY more of a hassle, but it allows people (the way I understand it) to pick individual textures, allowing you to choose which textures are made public.
Sadly, those individual textures would "have to" be uploaded separately from the original pack, uploaded as "strays" that is, as they'd still be able to pick all the textures, from your Texture Pack.

Wow.
Before I could only imagine myself playing with DokuCraft as a texture pack. Now I can only imagine myself playing with the Isabella texture pack. :happy.gif:
So... I'm loving the customizer! It's so liberating to try new textures that I don't have to commit to for the official pack.
Today's additions to the customizer are...
Cobblestone - Stone brick and cracked stone brick (partially in preparation for 1.8)
Mossy Cobblestone - Mossy stone brick and cracked stone brick (ditto)
Pumpkin - More traditional styled jack-o-lanterns in orange and green.
Netherrakk - Deep red variant.
Glowstone - Borderless and rocky variants.
I've also made the pack public and will be phasing out the items and armor.
Since you made it public, you made it from page 4, to page 1, midway down the list.
Congratulations, and thank you for making it Public. :biggrin.gif:.
I made a huge long post, but it seems it was deleted.. Beh.
Anyway;
It seems you uploaded the wrong "Mossy Crackled Cobblestone"
It's the same as the non-mossy one.
Also, can you take a look at JohnSmith's Brick-Mossy-Cobblestone (you may need to use Flying Sheep's Customizer, find in the JohnSmith Topic, to see it)?
It looks amazing, I'm really filled with horror every time I look at it -- it's just that visually pleasing!
If you could replicate something like that (with the really "powerful" moss, as well as the very distinctive lines), that would be great.
Still looking forward to see a more happy pack from you, with more distinctive lines for most textures (except for smoothstone, dirt, grass and other organic textures). Yes, I know you haven't verified you'll ever do that. Not as far as I can remember, anyway.
Edit: Ah, almost forgot! That new Nether Rack looks FRIGGIN' AMAZING. It's just about exactly what I'd expect to see (even though an even more gory version would also be interesting).
Any chance of seeing yet more glowstone textures (one which isn't a simple hue-change of netherrack), as well as some soulsand alts?
.. Damn, I'm annoying. Keep making requests, without contributing with anything.
(Except for requesting for your pack to get featured, on the Customizer Topic).
The cracked stone brick without moss was intended. Sort of. As far as I know there isn't going to be a mossy cracked stone brick in 1.8. And I couldn't decide what category to put it under, so I just put it under both.
I've been working on a little side project that might (maybe... perhaps...) suit your need for a happier version of this pack. We'll see. :wink.gif:
I think that he's probably referring to the fact that there is no custom textures.
I would find it weird if the Aether mod, a mod which has been in production for 4 months, wouldn't be able to find its' own textures, instead of trying to find them in a Texture Pack if that is used. Especially since it's a 16x pack.
The Negatives
The only shiny ore, is gold.
The light natural sandstone, is called "Lighter Smooth Sandstone", just like another option.
Still no firey obsidian.
The no-biome sidegrass option, seems to be lacking a dark/light option.
It would be nice to see a side-snow block, which only covered half the grass.
Happy faces for the pumpkins, possibly?
The pumpkin blur doesn't seem to have support for all the faces.
It would be nice to see warmer, darker and more "moist" wooden planks.
Would be nice to see dark sides for wood, to give it an illusion of being round.
There seems to be missing Dark Drawers, for the bookshelves alt.
The Positives
The dirty Netherrack looks friggin' amazing!
The Drawers for the bookshelves, is an interesting idea, which is well carried out!
Mossy Crackled Cobblestone.
The natural sandstones looks exactly as they should! Very good job on those.
(A little late) The pistons looks wonderful, simple, but with enough detail to tell it's a piston.
There is still a lot of things which could be added, as alternate textures, to draw full use of the Customizer.
Also, it seems as if there is no option to choose the alternate biome colors. They're present for the foliage colors, but now for the biome/grass colors. Or did I simply misread your post?
Piston suggestion: Make an alternate sticky piston, for the people who likes a slime-covered sticky piston, instead of a cross-taped face.
A last note: It would be wonderful to see some more "default looking" powered minecart tracks, since the ones you have made look very bold in comparison. Not that this is a bad thing, it would just be nice to have the option.
Your equation seems to be flawed.. This is a 16x texture pack, not a 64x. And, in comparison to Doku, this isn't RPG themed. Or, is that not how your equation is built up?

That was quick!
Everything you added in this batch looks brilliant, so don't worry about having to read through my hordes of negative criticism.
I know it can get frustrating to read through a bunch of things, which generally just say bad things.
Don't g.. What? I forgot the phrase. "Don't mistake me"?.. You know what I mean.
Anyway, don't mistake me -- your textures are fantastic! With all my negativity, I'm just trying to pinpoint the slight things which could be slightly improved.
Everything you do, is amazing, and I want you to realize that.
So, please don't get too annoyed when I go on a criticism spree. I know I've said all this earlier, I just felt like verifying it, to keep you happy. Happy is good (and production-encouraging)!

I...I love it
Testing out the customizer. This shows the short side grass (also have BetterGrass on) and the green pumpkins options.
I'd appreciate people going and trying it out. Thanks!
