I really love your texture pack. You truly did an amazing job of putting detail in such a small resolution. Do you think you can make a separate download, or something else, for a brighter version? The current one is dark, gloomy, and it makes me feel sad when I play. Please don't take this the wrong way, like I said, you did an amazing job on this texture pack. I, and possibly others, would like it more colorful.
I understand you have the Isabella 2 edit. However, it's not the brightness that is the problem. It's the lack of saturation. At first, I mistook the sand for stone. Can you please make your pack more colorful (by upping the saturation)? I don't mean to offend you, I just feel it would be even better than it already is.
Here is a picture that I took...ctm is turned to fancy, and the glass isnt ctm'ed...not sure what I did wrong.Ok...I re installed optifine, and now it works. Bookshelves look the same, however. Is there a ctm texture for those?
CTM bookshelves are kind of broken at the moment. There are (was?) some pretty big differences on how OptiFine and MCpatcher handled them. I tried to make it work decently with both but ended up breaking some parts in the process.
Mod support is something I really wish I had the time and energy to do. But the amount of work that some mods require, texture-wise, can be pretty daunting. Especially for mods like Metallurgy
but but but. It'd be exactly the same as the animated, just static...
terrain.png has spaces for static portal and fire. It's possible to redo these to match the texture pack. I was requesting a modified fire and portal (static) texture to match the rest of the pack.

Yep. I recently got into TerrafirmaCraft and it sucks being so heavily restricted on what texture packs are available. But jesus christ, just looking at how many textures that mod makes use of... even just palette shifting EVERYTHING would be a huge undertaking, let alone making custom textures.
I'm still loving Isabella. I acidentally used the default textures in a world yesterday and it looked really wierd.
One thing that's always intrigued me is the paintings with the pack. I'm not sure if I didn't install or configure something correctly, but all my paintings comes out like patchwork quilts hung on the wall.
Is this the normal set of pictures, or do I need to do something to see the normal set?

I recently read an exchange on the Feed the Beast forums from late August between you and a few others regarding textures for the upcoming mod pack. For an Isabella fan like myself who uses most of the mods in the pack already I was quite excited to hear the suggestion of an Isabella pack for FTB.
Many of the mods on the list have been textured for Isabella 1 in the past by folks like ScottKillen and WhatGravitas, but there have been no updates since Isabella 2 and some mods have changed the structure of their textures since then (Railcraft, for example, broke tracks into a separate file, as did Forestry with bees).
If you had a few No-Talent-Hack volunteers such as myself who were willing to help with some of the simpler copy-and-paste duties (like gui updates) do you think we could make it happen?
Hey folks, been MIA for a bit, sorry. (Vacation and computer issues.)
Re: The Customizer.
I have no immediate plans to create a new customizer. This is something that I would be totally cool with if someone took it upon themselves, though.
Re: Mossy Iron Golems
I don't think it's a bad idea. I'll file this away in the "potential ideas" category.
Re: The Paintings
The paintings are made from pixels grabbed from the original vanilla mobs. This is my little homage to Mojang's original design (plus it was a bazillion times easier then making new, original art.)
Re: FTB
I am disappointed with how the FTB guys are handling texture packs. Doing an FTB compatible texture pack would be a huge undertaking. I would have been required to recruit helpers and spend a lot of time coordinating them. Then, after all the work that I and my theoretical helpers had done would then need to be approved by the FTB guys. This is the Minecraft equivalent of working on spec.
I haven't completely ruled it out, just not right now (might reconsider when the mod pack actually comes out.)
Feed the Beast. I believe it started out as an adventure map that uses mods extensively and has since grown to include a series of single and multiplayer maps and, at some point, a mod pack similar to Tekkit or Technic

With the difference being that slowpoke got permission from all of the mod developers for FTB, whereas the two mentioned just took what they wanted. Too bad FTB is gonna be texture challenged...
I wasn't sure if I posted this earlier... (I'm tend to be forgetful...)
I added some mod compatibility for TMI's GUI, Risugami's Spawner, and Armor Stand...
I'll upload the edited images when I get a chance...
I know it's small, but it helps keep the whole appearence when it comes to those mods...
Hey Bonemouse. Just wondering if you could test something, though obviously only when you have the time. I would, and have a bit, but I have no access to a computer to continue testing.
If you don't think you have the time, could you point me towards other texture artists that use most of the features of CTM in their pack?
Is there a way to use the CTM randomizing feature on items?

Curse PremiumUm...those things are the whole point...
The pack supports CTM when everything is set up properly on the player's end. Note the 2x2 and 1x2 windows in the pictures:
try: command not found

Woo! Thanks, bonemouse.
