Your friendly neighborhood Kingpin here...
Truly a lovely pack. With more detail and synergy than most out there. The chests , furnace, and crafting table really caught my eye. Great job on the new achievement UI and art. I always wondered why the art pictures never had frames. Nicely done.
lol thanks for the pack i like it! and somehow my 20 fps minecraft was turned into 60+fps

do NOT build a glass brigde ween you comes to the lava, build a stone bridge or something I just died with all my very importent items, I think Im gonna stop playing this becuase of that. -.-
@LordGideon
Thanks for the screenshots! These are perfect and I'll be updating the OP as soon as I have some time.
Regarding the water and lava, all I can say is that I'm keeping your suggestions in mind for when I get around to doing the animated water/lava. At the very least, I will try to do a less stagnant looking alternative texture if I do decide to stick with that style.
@MetroFan180
All computers should have a decent photo editing program on them. I think you should try to make a case for Paint.NET. It's free and fairly decent for basic graphic manipulation.
As a favour (for the fiction you posted awhile back) I'll do it for you. Take a look at the alternatives I posted and tell me which one you'd like so I don't have to do it multiple times.
@WizardNombie
Thanks.
@Supply
That's odd. Are you using any other mods?
@Ducci
Thanks and no, there won't be a happier version of Isabella. I might do a happier texture pack in the future, though. A couple of packs that are happy that I use are JoliCraft and Frenden's pack.

Thanks!

You can run the game with fancy graphics. That or go in and manipulate the side grass texture to match.
This may be too complicated but here's my process in photoshop.
1. Open the grasscolor.png and right click the layer icon and choose "select pixels"
2. Filter > Blur > Average.
3. Use the eyedropper to grab the colour.
4. Open terrain.png, copy the sidegrass texture onto a new layer.
5. Move that layer over the sidegrass with dirt texture.
6. Add a new a layer above that and fill it with the colour you grabbed previously.
7. Set the layer blending to "multiply"
8. Right click on the layer sidegrass layer, select pixels.
9. Invert your selection, then select the colour layer above and hit delete
@TPawner
I'm actually pretty happy with the darkness level right now. It's always in the back of my mind, though.
Thanks tons for the pack I love everything in my opinion youve taken down huge names like: Painterly, Doku, and Misa. Love the pack, its become my main. Dimonds to you good sir
I know I've posted here before, but I still have to say it: this is still my favourite texture pack. Overall, it just fits the feel of Minecraft for me. As a matter of fact, it's inspired a story idea in me, and now I'm seriously considering making it into a short game.
I mean, heck, you know a texture pack is good when it inspires something like that.
I know this question has been asked, How do I download and install this pack? I have had Minecraft for a week now and found this to be the only texture pack I like.
As I said, am new to Minecraft and after reading all posts and seeing that this question has been asked before I still didn't know where to and what to download and then how to install.

Sorry :biggrin.gif: for my noobness
I'm gonna go ahead and answer this for you, with a couple of different ways to do it:
Go to the "Start" menu
Write "%appdata%" in the search bar, then press enter
Double-click on the ".minecraft" folder
Double-click on the "texturepacks" folder
Drag the "Isabella [CG] 27-04-11.zip" file into there
(NOT the contents of the .zip, the entire .zip)
Load Minecraft
Go to "Mods and Texture Packs"
Double-click "Isabella [CG] 27-04-11.zip" (or whatever the name might be)
(The rest should be obvious)
installed, love the pack, silly question..but I'm getting grass blocks. Instead of the dirt blocks that are brown with grass growing over the edges, I'm getting dirt blocks that are completely green. Its half and half, green blocks and brown blocks with green growing over the edges.
Just want to know if this is meant to be.
Wow. I think this texture pack is perfect. My Minecraft character that I made fits perfectly for this pack too. I looked at packs for the longest time and this one was the only one that worked. It is exactly my style. Thanks for making this, I was starting to wish I could draw better to make my own but this is just perfect.
Sorry about my awhile back. Please forgive me? :biggrin.gif:
Anyway, I LOVE IT! everything is nice. I noticed you changed the default character skin? At first I'm like... "uhh where did my skin go?" I realized it didnt reload after I warped. (not your fault, most likely minecrafts part.) I have a few suggestions. Having different tones as an option. Ya know?
RL is kicking my butt at the moment. Things will calm down mid June, so there probably won't be many updates until then.
I can say that I've started working on WildGrass support, but haven't gotten anywhere significant at the moment (only done the grass part).
And I have also started working on armor. Still very preliminary at this point so I don't have an ETA. The plan is to have leather, iron, and diamond work together so people can mix and match easier.
Let's look at the chest piece for example: Leather will look like padded leather armor. Iron will be exactly the same with iron plating. And Diamond will be just like Iron with diamond insets in the iron plating. All armor sets will have different head pieces (thinking a hood for leather, a helmet for iron, and goggles for diamond.) The end result should allow people to look cool if they, for example, are wearing a Leather headpiece, Diamond chestpiece, Iron leggings, and Leather boots.
Gold will diverge from this since it really isn't part of the usual upgrade path.
@leo0
Wow, thanks! That's quite the compliment.
@LordPie
Very cool! Hope you share the results.
@suteck
Glad you got things working out!
@mrisump
Thanks for running point. With my current schedule, having you step in was a huge relief. Very much appreciated.
@FrigginSandvich
Ditto!
@RustyGold
Cool! What does your minecraft character look like?
@stealth_droid
Having more default character skin options is on my todo list. Ideally there will be a variety that covers different ages, skin tones, and genders.
@Earo16
Glad to hear it.
@Drunkturtle
Not intended nor is it a bug really. I just haven't managed to do a decent animation for either yet. Animated water is a high priority, lava a little less so.

Hi I love your texture pack and use it all the time. Regarding other people's posts I think you should keep the water, round furnaces and wood. The only thing I don't like is the lava and the obsidian is a little too blue for me. Other than that I hope you keep working on it and adding to it because I most likely will never use a different texture pack. :smile.gif:

AN AWESOME TEXTURE PACK BY THE CREATOR OF SUMMERFIELDS !
I'm suiting up for 1.6. I'm hoping that there won't be too many delays but as I've said before RL is super crazy right now.
@MetroFan180
But what wood?
@Leostereo
Thank you!
@Glitter
Thanks! I need to some work on my Mo' Creatures textures. I won't have textures for the monsters (ogres, werewolves) or any of the sea creatures (sharks, fish) for awhile yet, though.
And...
@NinjaWithEraser
Not for vampires.
@ryansacekilla231 ok
In the OP, under downloads. There are two version (choose one): Custom Grass and Default Grass.

Master_Moles
Thanks. Yep, it's still a work in progress (though I haven't had time to work on it much this past month.) Obsidian and lava are going to get changed eventually.

I'm gonna go ahead and answer this for you, with a couple of different ways to do it:
1.
Read this topic: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1036&t=202440
2.
Do what I tell you now:
Go to the "Start" menu
Write "%appdata%" in the search bar, then press enter
Double-click on the ".minecraft" folder
Double-click on the "texturepacks" folder
Drag the "Isabella [CG] 27-04-11.zip" file into there

Load Minecraft
Go to "Mods and Texture Packs"
Double-click "Isabella [CG] 27-04-11.zip" (or whatever the name might be)
(The rest should be obvious)
3.
This part is for enhancement effects:
Run the patcher, found in this topic: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=252531
Hope it helped: Next time, do some research before asking :smile.gif:.
