This is amazingly impressive, but has anyone did any modifications to the classic's mod textures? I'm trying to compile a Tekkit compatible one, but the biggest flaw right now is Buildcraft's and Redpower's ore textures, they are using classic colors as to the new color. Or did i compile the files wrong?
I've got updated RedPower textures for Isabella II. I hadn't released them yet since I was waiting on RedPower to update, and also bonemouse has some things he wants to contribute. However, if you're looking for something to use right now, you can download this.
Oh wow, you actually made a dark alt.
I must say Isabella is a great texture pack in it's own right, but it's extremely reassuring to know if someone were to come here and make a suggestion that it'd actually get listened to.
Many thanks, I really appreciate the attention you pay to opinions and feedback.
Wow, this texture pack looks amazing! I'm going to download it now. Just from the video alone it seems so well put-together. I think the biggest thing is the consistency with the colors in each of the blocks. Also it doesn't seem to look as pixellated as some other texture packs with the same vibe, although I guess I'll have to actually test it out to see if that's true. Regardless, good job!
I've been searching for awhile for a texture pack to replace the default, one that I won't get bored of. I found this one a week ago, and after using it every day since I dare say I'll never need to go searching again. So beautiful, so easy on the eyes. Prettier and more tasteful and artistic than most high-res texture packs I've seen. Strong ambience, a consistant color pallete, no harshness anywhere to be found, thouroughly changes everything while remaining highly useable, and everything I've built just looks *good*. I can't speak highly enough about it, actually, it's simply stunning. I briefly went back to the default, and I couldn't believe how screamingly ugly it now looks in comparison.
I'm not sure whoever the artist is will ever read this, but if you do, thank you so very very much for this.
When I use the Technic/Tekkit version of this texture pack, the pack picture of the floating bottle and the subtitle "My Dearest Isabella" doesn't show up for some reason. I have the pack.txt and pack.png in but it refuses to show up. If anyone knows what's going on or is having the same problem, some feedback would be much appreciated. It could also just be an unfixable bug for Technic/Tekkit and I could just be wasting my time. But who cares.
Also, completely unrelated; do you thing we could get an extra texture for porkchops/raw and steak/beef for the customizer. Thank you for reading this.
Where did you put the texturepack file? Because technic uses it's own minecraft install, so putting the .zip where you usually put it won't do the trick.
I put it in AppData/Roaming/.techniclauncher/tekkit/texturepacks, and the same for Technic except replace tekkit with technicssp and neither show up.
Pleeeeeease someone make an extension for extrabiomes mod! IT SHALL BE GREAT!!!
Here is what I put together for my personal use. Please feel free to use. A proper download can be found in the downloads section. I will update this as the mods update.
I did post this on the unofficial mod support forum, but it looks like WhatGravitas has been away for a while and the OP there has not been updated.
First off, very nice texture pack. It is truely amazing for being 16x16 better than some higher resolution ones I have seen!
Unfortunately I ran into one problem with this latest release. The heads of snowmen are pure white blocks. I was able to correct this problem myself by deleting 4 files from the .rar file. inside the mob folder they are called; Snowman_overlay.png, snowman_overlay2.png etc. after deleting those the snowmen had there heads back to normal.
@I_Can_Haz
That's odd? You using MCPatcher or Optifine? What version?
@Guekema
I really want to do portal animations and have made 3 or 4 attempts throughout the life of this pack, including converting lava animation. None have stuck. At some point it will happen, though. Just not sure when.
@HeRorikGaming
I must admit that I don't really know how server texture packs work. Assuming from your comment, you are wanting a URL that links directly to the zip file? I'm not sure I can provide this as it would require me to get hosting. I would humbly suggest that server owners host it somewhere themselves. The pack is Creative Commons now which means that people are free to rehost the pack in it's entirety.

I used mcpatcher it was the latest version I could find. version 2.4.2 I believe.
Older versions of your textures worked fine, as well as a couple other packs I have used. I cannot give an exact version of the earlier texture pack I was using though, I have since removed it for the newer version.
I am fairly new to the texturepack buisiness so it could be possible it was user error at some point during the instalation. I followed both your installation instructions as well as Mcpatchers instructions to the letter though.

Awesome. This'll make it a lot easier for people to try their hand at making remixes, more variety is a good thing

This next content update is going to be interesting.
Especially with the mob changes. I'm going to have to sit down and really rethink my mob and armor designs.
There's a link to the unofficial thread that's dealing with that sort of thing. Please read the entirety of the original post before asking questions
