Speaking of invisible: the second-stage growth for Hemp in your Better Than Wolves textures (through the customizer) is completely invisible. Appears to be detected just fine by detector blocks and whatnot, but it's invisible
I haven't touched BTW in ages and don't plan on supporting it further. I have the textures on the customizer because I figured it might be useful for someone.
I'll be doing a final push for the 1.3 over the next week. I need to spend some time to organize everything to make sure I haven't missed something. Midweek, I'd guess. Maybe a little earlier depending on how busy I am.
EDIT and UPDATE
This weekend/early next week. RL's kicking my butt, atm.
Well done! This is my favorite texture pack. A few things I need to say though is there isn't any indication of enchanted weapons. That's rather annoying. Also, I think the different wood textures should all be the same as the 'plain' wooden planks texture, but with a different tint, rather than different looking wood, more like the default. That's of course, not as big of a deal as the lack of enchanted item animation. Great texture pack though! The not-so-bright colors are very relaxing. :3
This is a brilliant texture pack. ever since I have tried it, it has been my default pack; though I haven't been able to use it much because of no texture support yet for some of my mods. but, I wish best of luck and hope you continue this texture pack!
This is my favorite texture pack - this is what minecraft looks like to me. I was enjoying MC except for the feel of the look (too bright & garish), finding this pack saved the game for me.
I'm sure it would hurt someone at Mojang's feelings, but they should really switch their default textures to this pack. Great work.
Looks like the new (and possibly final) test build for MC version 1.3 is coming today or tomorrow. I'm pretty confident that it won't be too much work to turn the beta into a final release for when it hits.
There's only two things I really need to do: Get the custom colors up and running AND the new creative UI. Both are easy, just time consuming. I would also like to polish up the new polished lapis (heh) and do some other minor tweaks here and there.
Don't think I'll get the custom portal animation working in time, though.
Hey man, I just want to say that I LOVE this texture pack. It is by far the best one that I have ever used and I think it fits the minecraft world perfectly.
That said, I do have a single "gripe", if I could even call it that. I didn't really like the default jack-o-lanters because I thought they looked kind of out of place with the other textures, so I replaced it with the jack-o-lantern from another texture pack.
Also, you said that mcpatcher is required, or else it "won't look right" or something like that -
I have mcpatcher, but what exactly do I have to do with mcpatcher for it to make your texture pack "look right"? Is just clicking "patch" all I needed to do? I just don't understand what part of mcpatcher helps with your texture pack.
Anyways, I can't wait for the next build. Thanks so much for all of your hard work on this!
I don't support anything but the official releases. Sorry.

Random Mobs adds texture and colour varients for most every mob in the game.
There is also custom animated lava and water that the patcher will add.
Really, though, the swamps are the big thing. You can also use optifine and disable the swamp overlay.
