I found another texture pack, using some of your textures (the creepers, for example) and some textures that are quite similar to yours (the Zombies, for example): http://www.minecraft...ary-reborn-gui/
bonemouse was an original credited contributor to Quandary. Assuming this author has permission to release Quandary textures (I am not sure as Quandary is not public domain) he should have somethings similar to this pack.
You may not be aware that this is texture pack has a back story. (I think it might be the only texture back with a back story.) The back story in short is that our hero Stephen has been tragically separated from his lost love Isabella--hence the darkness and depression. I hope this helps you enjoy the pack more...if you look at the prior comments in this thread, you will see that it has generated fan fiction and even a love note from Stephen to Isabella appears...very interesting reading! Bonemouse is a genius.
Ah, now that makes more sense to me now. When it comes to reading through forums like this, I don't often read through the entire topic if it's over 15 pages or so because I can get stuck reading through them for hours .

"Victory is like a watermelon. It's hard to spell and it tastes good."
The lack of "enchanting glow" was done on purpose. I felt that the colour did not fit well with the pack's theme. That said, it is really easy to get the default shine back.
1. Open the texture pack .zip file.
2. Go to the "misc" folder and locate "glint.png"
3. Delete "glint.png"
This texture pack makes me think of soft, sad piano music and overall sadness.
It's amazing.
Agreed. I'll have to turn fog back on and make it start at 0.2 instead of 0.8, this pack screams for foggy, dreary weather. Not necessarily rain, but just kinda like... heavily overcast with close fog.
I'm amazed by the level of detail Bonemouse was able to pack into 64 pixels.
I'm gonna miss having my superhappy creepers, Doom-inspired armor, and Dragon Warrior slimes... but they just wouldn't fit right with this pack.
This texture pack is beautiful! It's clean and yet has more detail that I would've expected it to be a higher resolution.
The darker colors are also really nice in this. :3

"Isabella, my dearest...I will return as soon as I can," were your parting words as you left on the boat. World War 2 was only just beginning, and you were an Italian soldier, off to war. Your ship set sail on a gloomy, rainy day. Isabella cried at the docks, as you left, one small brown-headed child clung to her left hip, staring at the fading silhouette of the naval cargo ship with blank eyes. She stayed there with that child for an hour or two after your ship was lost from sight.
The storm persisted, and seemed to follow the S.S. Leopard as you sailed off into foreign seas. All of the men aboard had a family. You only knew some of them personally, and even then they weren't friends, merely acquintances. One man, by the name of Antonio who spoke almost constantly was saying something in Italian while you stared out at the choppy waves. Suddenly, the sky was illuminated in a bright, shocking blue light. Less than ten seconds later, you heard the crack of thunder. The storm was much too close.
Just ten minutes after Antonio went below-deck to settle in for the night, lightning struck the mast. A horrendous cracking sound could be heard from miles around as the thick pole of wood broke from the impact of the electrical bolt. The remains of it set fire. You sat in awe, staring at the fire, hoping for the rain to put it out. Most of the crew was abovedeck now. Antonio was the first to die. You watched him as he ran into the flames, a wooden bucket of water in his hand, and attempted to douse them. The bucket caught fire in his attempt, and the raging inferno quickly spread to his hands, and his clothes...He burned to death, right there. While that was happening, orders had been given to grab more buckets. You abandoned ship, instead, thinking of your wife and child.
A few hours later, you wake discovering that you had clung to a thick plank of singed wood that had floated away from the wreckage of the doomed ship. You find yourself on a very small, desolate island with little to no plants or animals. Your pack is still on your back, with a bottle of wine stashed in it. You quickly empty the little that's left in the bottle into one of the small metal flasks you keep in your now-damp pack, and find a crude piece of parchment from the same bag. You dig around and find an inkwell, but do not find a pen. You stumble away to find something pen-shaped to write with. Soon you return to your small spot on the island with nothing, and notice the plank of wood again. Using your knife, you carve off a small strip and use it to write a letter back to your wife. After completing the letter, you let it float out to sea in the empty wine bottle, crying now. You begin to look for firewood, for it is getting dark.
I really like how people come to make his own version of the story, Bonemouse has one, I have one, Metrofan had one... I something very amazing... but of course they always try to keep the "Default" Isabella story : D

Yes, and in the 1.1, it was not purple
If not, have you made sure the check "custom colors" in the patcher?
Thanks
