Amazing Pack. Everytime I leave I end up coming back and falling in love again :smile.gif: The new colors really make a difference.
That said, I would really like to see some more diverse colors for the randomobs. It'd be nice to choose which of the dogs in a pack to tame. As it is they are all grey, maybe some snow white/ dark black ones? maybe spotted cows and different birds like ducks and crows and such. It'd like to see you go a little farther with the feature :smile.gif:

I support you, but just in the wolves, the other mobs look fine
I must say, this is easily the best texture pack I've ever used.
The pack looks simply stunning when combined with Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders. I've taken a few shots of what it looks like.
Hello there, just thought I'd let you know that your texture pack is my favorite pack out of all the one's I've tried.
Because it's my favorite, I thought I'd try my had at (very lightly) editing them for the a few of the main mods I use, the Runecraftory Suite. They look great together. All of the actual textures are your own, so you don't really have to give credit if you don't want to. I made them so that you can add another supported Mod to your list and hopefully have more people enjoy your pack.
I'll update this post tonight with the images since IMGUR is down now, due to the SOPA protest.
Edit: I haven't done the Menus for the mod, yet. Just the placeable items (counter, stove, paintings, fruit trees).

wow... I tried to install that thing and now my minecraft is broken... you have a very good computer sir
What is that mod? Looks nice!
Or is it just screenshots of some landscape?
WHAT IS THIS?
This is the following mods: Optifine Big Trees - You have to search the thread for the 1.0 version Huge Trees Are Huge (notice in my first screenshot, the tree in the middle is 3x3 like a RedPower rubber tree...but it is regular wood!) Mountain Gen Mod
These mods all interlace their trees with the regular MC trees to create a random effect that looks more like a real forest... You also get dead leafless trees in the deserts.
So far, I have only had one problem. On initial world generation, Minecraft went into an infinite loop and finally crashed. From the logs, it looked like RedPower was trying to put a volcano on a huge tree. I regenerated with the same seed and had no problems.
Note, All of these mods were installed alongside direwolf20's mods and appeared to work just fine.
This texture pack is just gorgeous. I've been using it for a while now and it fits my tastes perfectly. I will have to show you some screencaps soon Bonemouse. I do have one question though, when do you think the customization will be working for the 1.1 update? I ask because I love the new custom colors for the sky, biomes, water, etc; however I like the alternatives to a few of the items and animals.
What a strange coincidence that you posted a Big Tree mod a couple of hours before Jeb dropped a junglebomb in the latest snapshot. I think Jeb's interpretation of big trees wins though.
Jeb's works very well for jungles/rain forests...but the combination of mods that I posted does well to make forest and mountains mimic more of what I see IRL.
I worked on the jungle trees textures tonight with zero success. I'm not quite sure how to handle the double wide trees while retaining consistency with the rounded textures of the other trunks. Anyways, this snapshot might take a little longer then the others while I try to come up with a solution.

What about having the wood be dark enough so that the rounded texture wouldn't be really visible anyway? I think a rain forest should be a really dark and lush green, and would be complimented by dark wood.

Epic! I'll be sure to put it in the OP when you've done that, currently texture pack support is limited for Doggy Talents :smile.gif:
