This texturepack is different though and that shows his artistic ability, its good in a different way too rather then him making one where he replaces ores with skittles....haha
"I remember when i was a little bit more young (just a little) monsters weren't a problem, they were just a distraction from work (Mining, farming, exploring, cutting trees and other activities)... Now... I am alone... there is no one with me... I can just paint pictures of me when i was (just a little bit) younger, pictures of *Me and my family... happy together... **Me and my dog, My trustable dog... ***My beautiful wife... Why...?, Isabella... Why...?"
.
.
.
Well is just a little bit of the Story i am making...(Not sure where the awesome texture name come so....)
But my point here is the asterisk in the text:
I was having some ideas for the paintings so...
*A painting of the player skin with his family (nosed too, lol)
**The player skin caressing a dog
***The player skin dancing or hugging with his wife
They come to me with a dream :/
and BTW look at this (I hope that you dont get bother by this):
I put your profile image, i think i dont even do it well :/
Man, this pack is great. Maybe I'm just weird, but I don't like massively bright colors jumping at me. Then again, a completely dark pack is just weird.
THIS pack is in an amazing dark-grey, and now I'm hooked. It tells lore in the pictures themselves.
I like mrisump's idea for a brighter pack. I might call it Isabella: Reunion since Stephen isn't as memorable, in my opinion.
I would love to do it. But the chances of it happening are low.
If I had a started with a saturated, bright pack and people wanted a darker, desaturated one - it would be no problem. Removing colour takes all of 10 minutes. Adding colour, on the other hand, is a lot more involved. Doable, though (and if someone wants to take up the challenge and want some tips, I'd be happy to provide my process.)
Basically it would be like creating and maintaining a new pack, albeit about 25% quicker. And as long as Mojang keeps adding new features, that's time I don't have right now.
Other factors I have to consider are:
There is still work to be done for this pack before I would consider it "done."
Mods, especially larger ones require a lot of maintenance.
I feel that there is a large number of great packs that fill the "brightness" spectrum that are worth checking out.
I still would love to do a completely new pack, some themes I have considered:
John Carter of Mars style pack.
Looney Toons/Road Runner pack, a sort of hybrid cartoon "simple" pack with more texture.
Elemental, a pack that makes the most of the customizer, with 4 themes (earth, wind, water, fire) that are interchangeable.
There's also Conker_27's art concept, another great idea that I wish I had time to do.
@Conker_77
Pulp Fiction the movie or pulp fiction the literature from the '20s-'30s? If it's the latter, Jungle Ruins is a pretty good Indiana Jones style pack.
@ScottKillen
That ship shot is awesome, is it your build too? It fits perfectly into the lore.
@RegentBaloney
I'll do what I can tomorrow or Sunday but I don't think the customizer site has been updated yet.
Chesterfield before the terrain update was a good seed. And why not. I'm not totally set on the name, though. Just found it amusing. I'm open to suggestions.
Steve is the name of the main character as established by Notch. Stephen just seemed like a more formal version of that and it suits the theme better, imo.

i like the name, now with it i can finally write his name in my story : D
Default is pretty brilliant in a lot of ways. For instance, with regards to playability, it is much better then my pack. Personally I prefer a different feel then it provides, which is why I made this pack. But I still on occasion switch back to vanilla for a change of pace.
This is my favorite texture pack by far. 16X and still beautiful! I was kind of sad when I noticed my version was outdated when I finally tried out some of the new blocks today, so imagine my excitement when I see it has already been updated to 1.0.0 :biggrin.gif:
I was having the idea to make the ghast fireballs like a cannon ball from the XV century and make the magma cream more like a plasta of slime melting down :ohmy.gif:
This is an alright texture pack. The colours are a little too dull for my liking. Good work though with the 16x. If the colour palette was brightened just a hair, it'd be quite a good pack.

It's the same as the last 1.9 version I did except I fixed the white endermen and spiders issue.
I still haven't updated the customizer or done the paintings from your guys' screenshots. Sorry :sad.gif:

Both taken by me a few minutes ago. Yours if you want them.
