I know when to filter out the negative comments. So don't worry so much. :wink.gif:
Besides you've caught a few mistakes I would've missed otherwise.
This last batch was a fairly easy one. Mostly just photoshop tricks. The hardest one being the snow with grass because I needed to figure out what colour the grass should be (since snow only shows up in certain biomes, I couldn't use my usual trick.)
Anyways, I really need to get going with the items so I may be a little slow on the customizer options for awhile.
Ah, sure :tongue.gif:.
I was wondering, I'm not a very skilled texture artist, but would you mind if I took your textures, and went around and edited them, as well as created new ones based on their themes, and gave them to you as alts?
I won't mess around with them if you prefer me not to :smile.gif:.

AVATAR, PHOTO AND SKIN AT THE COURTESY OF WHISKERS
Just two quick notes before I hop to bed:
The Herobrine skin isn't default, in the Customizer anyway.
The dyes you uploaded just now, seems to be the same; both bottled up, that is.
Also, what's with the canned, and sacked, dyes? That makes it look odd, next to the other "clean" packaging methods.

I meant default as in the skin that will display if you haven't got a custom skin chosen. Stephen is and will likely remain the "default" skin of the pack.
Unless there's an option I'm missing, dye icons are packaged together. There are actually only two dyes that have alts. The lapis which has a dark blue and a light blue option. And the bone meal which has the jar option or bone powder in a bowl.
The two odd ones out are the bone meal (in the jar) because it has more functions then just a dye. I figure you kind of sprinkle it one your plants to make them grow. And the sack is coco beans, which is only found in dungeons and therefor seemed appropriate to have a unique icon.
EDIT: I know I'm probably over explaining this but my thought process went like this...
Any dye that is a combination of two or more colors appear in the bottles (pink, lime, cyan, etc.) Dyes that are created from a single raw, natural source appear in bowls (yellow, red, green) Dyes that are themselves raw have an appearance appropriate to the source (ink sacks for black, lapis lazuli stone for blue.) And, as stated above, exceptions were made for brown because of the location from which it's found and bone meal because of the additional function the material provides.
Oh, that makes sense!
It would though be nice to see bottles and bowls as a whole, for dye options.
I guess that's something the community can make for you, since you're working on items and armor for now :smile.gif:.

AVATAR, PHOTO AND SKIN AT THE COURTESY OF WHISKERS
The options in the customiser are great, I think that its near perfect on the terrain front for me. Perhaps a set of more 'rugged' wooden doors would be great, the defaults look too, refined perhaps, for a few planks hammered together. The ladders also, are a bit weird, they seem to float in the hand when holding them. The gui hearts are also a little off, I'm not quite sure why.I love your character skins by the way, they're great!
Noted!
I'm working on the items/armor right now so I won't get to these for a bit. The floating ladders were designed that way to make it look a little less weird when you put them on every second block. Of course, Notch fixed that particular exploit, so non-floating ladders are definitely something I want to work on.
As for the health GUI... I'm holding off on that until after 1.8 hits. It's probably my least favorite thing to work on and I rather not put myself through it and have it all get outdated when things change in the Adventure Update.
Took a bit of a break from working on the pack. Regardless...
One. The power armor isn't visible as a selection since there is only one version. I also have no way of testing it. I think it'll look good, but lightning storms are rare and a creeper getting his by one is rarer. If you happen to see one and it looks like ****, please let me know!
Two. Because I know someone will ask... I will do a more normal looking gold sword (probably be a recolor of the iron sword when I do that one.)
I thought it would be fun to give the netherpigs more story -- Yes, I call them Nether Pigs not Zombie Pigmen -- by giving them a more Aztec or Mayan flare. Hence the weird sword. So expect a similar treatment for the gold armor and some more Aztec-y variations for the Nether Pigs themselves in the future.
EDIT!
Created and added links for Isabella Mod Pack v1 (this is identical to what I had included in earlier packs) and Isabella Skin Pack v1 (for your convenience.) See OP for links.
Customizer Options (last for today since I'm really busy)
Mirrored Pork Icon (fits better in the hand this way)
Edited the Nether Pig (Gold) Sword to fit better in the hand
Added an Iron Sword
Recoloured the shears to match my current item colour scheme (I'll make brighter versions of all the items in batch when they are all done, old one is still default)
Well, I "created" 4 alternate textures for you to use. Don't worry about crediting, can't be arsed.
A quick ladder "fix":
Lava-y Obsidian:
Mossy Brickstone:
Brickstone:
Now, as you may notice.. They're all basically your textures. I just added a few dots, using your palette, to the ladder, merged your lava and obsidian, desaturated your claybrick, and then added some splotches of moss to it.
Now, I realize I'm not a great fabulous texture artist (such as yourself), but I think it's quite fun to mess around with stuff like this. It's not what I usually do, let me put it that way :P.
Edit: If you'd prefer that I use another way to give you any future alternate textures, please do tell me :).

These are great! Thanks!
I'm going to edit them a smidge to make them match up a little better with the rest of the pack before I upload them. (They really don't need much.)
Feel free to post them here or PM. Whatever you feel most comfortable with. And let me know how you want to be created. "mrisump?"
I'd prefer that the textures being edited to add to the customizer remain my work. Or completely original textures with permission for myself to redistribute and edit them as I see fit and to allow other people to do the same.
If you really want to credit me, it'd be "mrisump".
Also, I read the last part of your reply approximately 6 times, and the way I understand it is this:
You want to know if I mind you editing the textures -- and you would prefer to primarily use your own textures solely, for the Customizer.
You're of course free to edit any of the things I make for the Isabella Texture Pack.
I'm not really a genius at making completely original textures, but if that's what you prefer, I'll try :smile.gif:.
Basically, I'm saying you have the rights to the textures I PM you, and post in this Topic, unless stated otherwise.

before i saw this thread i thought all 16x texture packs were lousy. Now i have to go rethink my entire life. 10/10. if you ever were to make a 32x version of this (or one with this style) i think i would fart out my bones and cry. either way there's hardly any room for improvement here in my opinion besides adding more pixels to look at.
@mrisump, yah, sorry. That wasn't very clear. I just wanted to make sure that I won't get in any trouble by using other people's work. And also allow people to use the textures however they see fit as per my OP.
@95LutherL, I've not heard of that mod but I'll take a peak. It's difficult for me to want to do mods because of the amount of time required for a relatively small group of people who use them.
@Dustyboozer, lol thanks! I'm interested in doing a 32x texture pack but not for a while yet. I'm determined to get this one done before I take on another project.
Customizer Options:
Wood Sword
Stone Sword
Diamond Sword
Boring versions of the Gold and Diamond Swords
Small Stone Brick, Mossy Small Stone Brick, non-floating ladder, firey obsidian by mrisump added.
wow this pack is really gloomy but nice and fun to play on. beafore i knew the REAL name i called it "dark-craft"
have some diamonds :Diamond::Pig: hey dont steal them pig! oh hears a pork chop
