I've been using this texture when I hadn't gotten an account yet,so now that I have one,and I've finally found the thread,This is an amazing texture pack! :biggrin.gif:
The original plan was to do updates in the form of messages in bottles from a man (Steve/Survivor/Player's Character) who was lost at sea and washed up on the shore of some unknown land. These messages would be to his beloved back at home, Isabella.
So the updates would go like...
My Dearest Isabella,
Today I ran into some giant spiders <picture of the spider> and blah blah blah.
Obviously I didn't pursue that motif but I liked the name enough. Hence Isabella. It was that or <something>craft.
In other news, I'm taking a short break from the items to work on mod support. I tried using Mo' Creatures the other night and discovered just how out of date my textures were.
I'll be fixing the lions and adding the other big cats, redoing the duck, redoing and adding more bunnies, adding mice, adding rats, and adding fish.
I've also done a very rudimentary version of the Seasons Mod and I'm working on Baby Animals. And hopefully updating BetterGlass will be simple enough to do too.
Expect to see customizer options based on these mods where appropriate (already added tamed chicken from Baby Animals as well as ducks and boars from Mo' Creatures)
Since I'm watching the Customizer Topic like some sort of hawk, I have a few ideas about what support the Customizer will have for mods.
I think it would make more sense if you worked on Connected Textures Mod ("CTM") textures, instead of BetterGlass, as it's a mod which is expected to soon be supported by the Customizer. Better Glass is not, as it does thing a whole other way, the way I understand it.
Also, Duck Alt for chicken. It's just a good, and (relatively) easy idea.
Also, Better Than Wolves (BTM) and The Aether should also be on your priority list, somewhere anyway, as they're currently the only supported mods for the Customizer. Last time I checked, anywhere.
Then again, those are some of the heaviest things to work on, as far as I know.
Here's my shoot on a priority list you could use; this is a suggestion, not an order of course:
1 Family and eventual IRL issues (major and minor)
2 (Updated) Mo' Creatures Support
3 CTM Support
4 Items
4 Aether Support
5 Better Than Wolves Support
6 Et Cetera
It is not an accident that both Items and Aether Support has the same value.

I believe CTM is the successor to BetterGlass. So when I say BetterGlass, I mean CTM.
Then again, those are some of the heaviest things to work on, as far as I know.
Yah... That's pretty much why I've been avoiding them. I also have relatively little desire to actually install either, which would make testing difficult.
That priority list is fairly accurate. I'd move items to number 2 and I'd squeeze Baby Animals in there too. Also add a stipulation that priorities can change whenever doing something seems more fun then doing something else.
EDIT: I say Baby Animals also because Jeb has stated that they intend to add similar features to the base game. Which means that maybe I can reuse the textures when that happens.
I used default pack for a long time because I couldn't find a custom one that I really liked. That is, until I found this one! Only texture pack I've ever used and for good reason.
Just wanted to say good job and thanks for the great pack, my fishing village looks amazing now.
I really enjoy your texture pack. It's very velvety* while still retaining that classic polygonal look that's so humbling of minecraft. Thanks for your great work. :biggrin.gif:
@Montpelier
I agree. However, since I decided to put mods back into my game, it made sense to do the textures for those ones. Thankfully a lot of those textures can translate into customizer options. So it isn't a complete waste.
@syvern
You're welcome. Thanks for the comment.
@wurfle
Please do! And please share your results.
I've been chugging away at the mod pack (which is almost done) and have added a few new options to the customizer as well.
New Customizer Options
Brian - A new Survivor, basically The Lost Hero without scary eyes.
5 new Squid variations - Part of Randomob Mod support.
Tamed Wolf with Blue Collar option - Part of Baby Animals Mod support.
2 new Sheep variations - Baby Animals/Randomob
New Sheep Fur variation
Non-Feral Cow option - Baby Animals
3 new Chicken variations - Mo' Creatures/Baby Animals
Just finished checking through your newest additions to the Customizer.
Good job on those!
For whenever you feel like making more alts (instead of working on Mod Support, or simply taking care of the first thing on the priority list previously suggested), here's a few suggestions...
"Royal" Gold
With this I mean gold tools, which are mostly useless, will have a very royal feel to them, making them the most visually appealing tools overall. Same thing could apply for armor.
Spill-out Bowls (and Buckets)
Basically, a few droplets of whatever the bowl or bucket may contain, spilling out. Sometimes, the "perfect" look, can get boring.
A slightly less eye-popping Lava Obsidian
.. Really? Of all the people in the world to say this, I am the one? Anyway, don't fuss about this one, at all. I'll try to do this one for you.
A top-log rag
That sounds funny. Anyway, the top of the log (particularly the round one), could have some raggedness to make it seem a bit more natural.
Coal[(b]
Did you dismiss this one? You said a while ago you might want to change that. Anyway, a coal which blends better with the other ores.
Actually, it would probably be a good idea to make a lot of disorderly alternate textures, which still stay in style with the rest of your textures. It's probably going to be a heck'uf'a'lot of work (apostrophes!), so this should be moved way down the priority list.
Also, I hadn't considered the stuff about mods; that they may be taken down, or such. Hrm. Yes, I see why that's a problem.

(I think it was just hands and parts of the face, but I thought I'd ask to be sure you were okay with it).
I also have a suggestion for the customizer: you might want to offer a desaturated version of the gold items, ores, blocks and armor. I tried it myself with Quandary and it looks much more realistic, and it fits well with the theme of your pack.
@mrisump
Coal, still in the cards.
Top-log rag, will add to my to-do list.
Spill-out bowls and buckets, once I finished the items or am feeling inspired, sure!
Obsidian, I'll take a shot at it later (much) if you can't get it to look right.
My gold armor and items are going to have ornate and boring versions of each. Leaning more towards Aztec style. Are you thinking specifically of a European style?
Mods are done for now! But yah, doing mods is risky. First, not everyone bothers with them, and even fewer use Isabella, and even fewer will bother getting the Isabella version of the mod textures. Plus some modders tend not to update their mods beyond the initial version.

Great skin!
I'm slowly working on the items (took a little break, see below) which will be much more desaturated then the Quandary/Coterie items/armor. The plan is to eventually get rid of that content so the pack is 100% (mostly) my own work.
First off, I must say that I love how fast these updates
are coming out. You're pushing these things out daily, but with
that said each texture is so unique and beautiful in it's own way.
On another note, considering i'm quite a fan of the CTM mod, may I ask
if the bookshelves are completed? Because they are not updated on the customizer in
the CTM bookshelf slot, but in the previous update list, it says they were.
Besides that, this pack is truly superb. I'd love to see some more updates
to the items.png file, before future mod support, but that's ultimately your
decision. :wink.gif:
Overall this is a fantastic texture pack, and it deserves to be up there with
two fantastic other packs on the head page of minecraftcustomizer.com.
Yah, all the CTM textures are completed. I have it set to only show options when there are more then one. And since I only have one version of the bookshelves (and the chests), they aren't shown. But they are there.
Dear bonemouse, Plese change the cobwebs. It was kind of confusing at first at what it even was i thought it was a chandelier at first! And if you do change it make sure it looks good around other of the same thing because a whole bunch of spiders hanging from a web doesnt really look that good. I hope you read this and that i get good feedback. :smile.gif:

the gun mod would look cool with this but last days is better with it :smile.gif:
