Today I'd like to introduce to you my 16x16 resolution personally customized texture pack. I did make the terrain and a few other things over the weekend about a week ago, and released it to an unrelated forum that I regularly post in, but I wasn't pleased with how little I changed about the sprites, mobs and armor, etc. It felt incomplete.
So, over the past week or so, I have been hard-at-work creating and detailing the majority of this texture pack and all of its fanciful inclusions. I really hope that you like it, and please let me know your feelings about it!
Another thing: I know how much everyone loves their default tools' appearance, (or at least I do,) so I left the tools unchanged for the most part; only small details have been included on diamond and gold picks and swords, as well as the color scheme of the diamond tools being changed to reflect the diamond armors' appearance.
Also, please understand that I wanted to keep a lot of the core, familiar, Minecraft stuff to feel the same; so, this means that not everything is greatly visually altered.
Good, glad to see that we're on the same page.
Do you dare to venture into the nether to set your sights on the merciless demeanor of the Ghasts? Watch as solid rock is destroyed into perfectly squared blocks of cobblestone for the building of more attractive structures! Experience the animals' large, gleaming eyes, as they gaze into your soul! Yes, this world is a strange one, but there is something familiar about it...
Please leave your opinion, suggestions, feedback, constructive criticism, etc. Naming off characteristics of the texture pack that really caught your eye, or, perhaps that didn't feel right to you, would greatly help my understanding. It would really help me know what you'd like to see in the future, as well as what I can currently change about the texture pack now, if needed. Thanks!
The tools of the trade -
...as well as many other sprites and items left undisplayed.
Mobs:
Zombies.
Creepers. (A bit angrier looking, if I may say so myself.)
Skeletons with crossbows.
Spiders. (Not much changed at all.)
Oh, and the only radical changes on mobs were made to the cow's skin, if you can even consider them radical. Know, though, that changes have certainly been made to the other mobs, but the cows' changes are most notable. (Changed the primary colors of it to reflect the colors of the leather hides that they drop. )
this pack is very good so far! my eyes have rested from minecraft (and started my 3Drad addiction again), so now everything looks sort of new to me. but so far, this one is one of my favourites! i really like the armour. is it just sprited? or did the cloth, diamond, iron, gold, chainmail.png's get changed?

Thanks! Yeah, I wanted it to look very clean and modest. Uhh, I just edited the .png files for the armor as they were.
So, I suppose you could say that I sprited them myself.

Nice subtle colors and designs.
Glad you like it! I certainly made it with a tan-like hue on a lot of the blocks, and desaturated a lot of the grainier looking textures, so I'm glad that you noticed. :]

Thank you!
Ah, yes. That was actually intended; I meant to make it less saturated so that it would appear more opaque, kind of like this:
Know what I mean?
Thanks Ghost, you sexy beast you.
