Instructions-
For people new to swapping out textures and Mods I recommend downloading the original mob folder or the full Pokepack Texture pack to start with that way you have an idea how things go.
1.Download the alternates pack.
2.Extract the zipped files with Winrar or 7-zip and put them in a file all their own.
3.Open up an existing texture pack (I keep mine in separate unzipped files)and open the mob folder. Delete the original of what ever it is you want to replace.
4.Take one of my skins place it in the mob folder, If need be relabel it. (This is as simple as deleting the (#) at the end.)
5.Then install your texture however you normally do.
I don't use a third party patcher so for me this involves opening the Minecraft.JAR file with winzip or 7 zip and just dropping them in there.
On a side note the Zombie and Pigman/Zombie Pigman textures can double as regular skins as well :biggrin.gif: but I'm sure you all knew that.
If there are any issues that I missed please inform me. I do try and test all of my textures before I release them but sometimes I may miss something. (I keep putting tails on backwards :/ ) Also if you are going to use this in your texture packs I don't mind just please credit back to me. I worked really hard on these and I would at least like the credit due. And if you put them in a video I'd like to see :biggrin.gif:.

As for suggestions for other skins for the Pokemon my explanation is as follows-
I chose bidoof cause he's about as dumb looking as the original pig...Bidoof sorta makes pig noises in games. I like grumpig and I'm pretty okay with tepig but I just felt like bidoof was better suited for the roll of lovable ham dropping goofball.
I chose Arcanine for the wolf cause I felt like I needed more gen 1 pokemon, also because Arcanine has a distinctive mane like the wolf model.
I will probably go in and make some alternative skins since there seems to be a demand for it.

I've been considering it...and when I get my hands on some Ruby and Saphire or B&W terrain sprite things I will... I'm not to fond of the Mint green old school grass anymore. But I will be taking elements from as many games as possible and sort of blending them as best as I can.
I have added quite a few pictures to the original post now. I hope that they are satisfactory.
I'm having difficultly coordinating not dieing and taking a picture of the skeleton. But as soon as I do get one up I'll share it with you. This goes for many of the others not pictured. I simply haven't seen them or I haven't been able to coordinate the pictures.

Someone reskinned creepers to look like eggecutes. I think wolves would look better as mighteynas, houndours, or an eevee evolution. Pigs as slowpokes would be cool. They could drop slowpoke tails, too.
