A while ago I got the idea to make a texture pack completely in Microsoft paint, and try to make it look as bad yet good as possible. This is my progress: ignore the faded textures. Those are what I'm using to see which texture I'm making.
The only problem is that I've grown tired of making it and I was wondering if anybody wanted to help me make the textures. I want to make at least all ground textures and tools. Maybe water and lava if possible. I just need people to help. If you want, just copy and paste my current progress in to MSPaint (Nothing else!) and make your worst! =)
I'm hoping we can make a pretty good texture pack. Oh, if somebody could, could they patch it into a texture pack and give me some screenies? I'm not very good at putting stuff like that together. Thanks!
I'll keep a list of anybody who contributes with what you contributed. I'll also keep progress of what we've made.

I'm going to have to do some editing outside of MSP after the pack is done to fix transparency. I just tried the pack with the current textures (without transparency. Glass is basically a white block.) and it looks great! It looks different from any other texture pack I've seen.

I'd love for somebody to work on the tools! Remember, I'm not looking for quality. I want un-quality, kinda like you'd expect from somebody who just learned what MSPaint was. Simple line-ish stuff, but possible to tell what it is.
I got a screenshot of how it looks so far. I also need somebody (Probably Secs) to fix the wood planks. See in screeny the bottom part of the texture.
Also secs, just use tinypic (http://www.tinypic.com/) to upload the image and post it between img tags.

I like them so far, but they just look like simplified versions of the original. Just make them by thinking how a kid would make them. Like, redstone is a more scribble-shaded version with some obesity problems. (Bigger, scribblier.)

XD, they are a simpler version... Kinda like a new person to MSPaint... Wait a minute, I am... Well i am really using the Windows 7 paint... Only 'cause I feel like it. I actually don't beleive I can make them any bigger, or else it does not show up as the item, and it gets seperated into 4 parts. :sad.gif:. Also yeah thats about it.... No further comments on your comment. That make any sense what so ever? Bet not. :smile.gif: So should I the Items I just did?
Yeah, just make them a bit messier. Like, just add some different reds inside the redstone, and mess with it's shape while making sure it can be identified as redstone.
Sorry, I think you would do better without me. I keep having school... and/or life come into my computer time.... (Sorry. Heheheh, keep it up. This is amusing. Too bad paint doesn't allow transparency..)
Also, don't forget to save it as a JPEG before you make it a png. Multiple times.
