The mob skin contest taking place right now got me off my butt, for now at least.
I managed to make these three skins in the past 2 days. The shown colors are the only ones available right now, but if you want to try them out you can download all three here.
I love how you chose the Steel Door from TF2, the vent...door windows at the bottom! So creative! If only Minecraft lighting worked even like that...we'll see, the lighting engine is constantly* improving.

I'm trying not to stick to "Oh hey this is fire based, it's gonna be Pyro."
I'm trying to, instead, be creative. I'm going more with how the mobs act and how that would equate to some of the TF2 classes.
Spiders are sneaky, yeah, but they are also loud and rush at you; Pyros do something similar in the sort.
Besides there are more mobs then there are TF2 classes so there will be multiples of some classes. I already have three things picked out to be spy.
i made a parkour map using your texture pack is it ok ? it has a scout theme with some cake and spycrab and saxton hale jokes :tongue.gif:
Oh man, that's more than okay. It sounds awesome as long as you link people back to here as the source of the texture pack. I'd really like to see it myself. :3c
Folks, it's getting close to the holidays and I'm getting pressed for time so I may or may not try to spend a day this week finishing up the pack for 1.0.0. If I can't I'm going to at least try my best to make it playable.
Do you think you might be able to update what you have done into 1.0 so the people who really want it (me) can get at least something soon

Unfortunately, this time of year is very hectic for me, especially since I'm going to be spending the holidays on the other side of my country.

Really, I get that people want me to finish soon. It is very motivating, but right now I'm on Holiday.
I mean, it's almost New Year's guys, come on. Christmas was only two days ago, I'm using this time to relax.
Apologies for not finishing before the holidays, but I was also busy packing for a cross country trip and I'm still not even home right now. I'll level with you though. Tomorrow, wed 28th, I'm going to be settling in at a friend's house, after all the packing and unpacking I'll try to get back to work on the texture pack. I'll at least release a version that, while not complete, will work with the current version some time this week. P.S. I'm not going to make the mine carts payload bombs.

Considering this.
I need to finish what I have first then find out what randomobs is and how it works before I implement it.
For random mobs just put a number near the skin name.
e.g pig, pig2
