More Team Fortress 2 themed work by other artists!
Can you give me a link for the world download for that world with all the blocks demonstrated like that (The first picture) I am PROVIDING a texture pack but not making one however i would like to show people what it looks like in order to make them feel safer about downloading it and yeah xD.
BTW nice work on it. I am thinking and testing it xD.

Wow! Looks great!
Thank you.
As a heads up I'm working on giving armour new icons and changing the particle textures [smoke, rain, snow, hearts, etc.] but I'm going to hold off releasing an update until beta 1.5 comes out. That way I have more time to work and I can make the pack 1.5 compatible while I work on retexturing items added in 1.5.
this looks really well made, all the TF2 related weps are here too! in the next texture update are you going to remake the helmets into class related hats? (gold helmet=Prince Tavish's Crown)
Yes, in a way. I will be making the armor into themed gear.
Leather = Sniper Items [Slouch Hat, Darwen's Danger Shield, Pouch Belt, Boots.]
Iron = Soldier Items [Helmet, Grenade Belt, Not so sure on the pants, Gun boats.]
Gold = Engie Items [Hardhat, Overalls, Utility Belt, Kneepads.]
Diamond = Heavy Items [Toughman's Touge, Bullet Belt, Not so sure on the pants or boots yet.]
Chainmail = Medic Items [Glasses, Gloves, Medi-pack, Not sure on the boots.]
I have an old progress shot on the sniper items. It's not too good of quality and I've gotten farther in the work, but it convays what I'm going for.
It's a little stretched 'cause I did the resizing in paint in a rush to show it off to a friend for approval, but good enough for now.
I'll also share the original plan sheet for the items as well.
I also plan to change pigs into medic pigs and saddles into medi-packs. Just for the fun of it. I'm having a lot of trouble reskinning the mobs though.
It took me long enough, but here we are and the pack is in working condition for 1.6.
I rushed the work to push it out today. Fixed a lot of things I spotted as off or unfinished in the last update, hopefully. Please tell me if you spot anything that needs to be fixed or that I might have accidenally skipped.
There are a lot of extra things I haven't gotten to re-texturing just yet, but they aren't too important at the moment and I'll be getting around to them eventually.
Someone came to me on tumblr with an interesting question.
"Is it possible to make one of the blocks (like wool for instance) to look like the sort of default plaster wall you find in the spytech areas in TF2? It would be really useful for those who want to achieve that genuine TF2 look (like me xD)"
I know this is something I can't do for the main packs since even the original creator admitted that the pack is for an artsy feel. However, I've been thinking about making a merged RED vs. BLU pack to be used for design purposes. I know more than a few people that like to recreate TF2 maps on minecraft and even I would like to use some more TF2 like textures for making bases. Since I'm considering it I added a poll to the thread.
Updated the preview images and added some in-game shots of things like wild grass and the nether. I haven't managed to find the fern like grass in-game yet so I'm not so sure how it looks.
Progress:
I'm sorry about that, the pictures were working fine earlier. I have no idea why they broke, but they should be working again now.
I plan to texture wolves as Guard dogs.
Creepers will be spies.
BTW nice work on it. I am thinking and testing it xD.
The map I used can be found and downloaded here: viewtopic.php?f=1034&t=102024
Thank you.

I'm not quite sure how, but your love reminded me that I need to make new example pictures for the thread. :3c
Oh, right! I had forgotten about the maps! I'll try to fix that a.s.a.p.
Maps should have an icon now.
