I'm currently working on a Texture Pack for MC Beta 1.4, it's going to take me a while to complete it though. It is going to be High Quality, but, not HD. I plan on using gradients for shading the blocks mostly. And I already have a couple blocks made. I'm also going to change the Hostile Mobs and have several Characters to choose from. I will be posting updates as more and more work gets done. And I'll have pictures up whenever I get the time to make them. So far I have these textures incorporated.

Clay is now Orange colored so it wont be confused with Snow.
Sandstone, Cobblestone, Moss Stone, and Bricks Share the same pattern with respective coloring.
Glass is completely transparent (except for the sides).
Ice is one shade of blue (also transparent).
Each Ore (Coal, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Redstone, Lapis Lazuli) all have different patterns.
Obsidian is now Purple (To match the Nether Portal).
Bedrock is pure Black (With *scratches* to add effect of someone trying to break it before).
Pumpkins have Creeper faces (Done so many times, but I like it).
Gravel and Dirt no longer look like puke.

Thanks for the comments on it. And yeah, the Sandstone Bricks are one of my favorites of the textures. Just imagine an entire Pyramid made out of them... o_O

Yeah, I'm going to be changing a lot of the items. I already have a few done.

The Sword
The Pickaxe
The Axe
The Shovel
The Hoe
Clay Balls
Diamond Gem
Coal
Flowers

There's only a few left that I'm going to change.
You can kind of see the Weapons and the Diamond in the screenshots that I have posted above.
