What type of mobs are you looking for? Are you making them robotic , wild or a new species?
I'm making a bit of a mix. Mostly robotic though, since it emphasizes how few things have survived. For example, the cow is a mix, its a cow that's practically dead but being kept alive by machines. The hostile mobs are forms of fungi.
The video is up too! But for some reason its not showing up on the front page...
This is the code I used, anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
I have already taken a swing at it! I just forgot to update the terrain.png on the front page. I'll be sure to update that tonight. The pack itself is already updated, if you want to try seeing how it looks. Be sure to tell me if it needs more work!
P.S. - Its an alt texture, so you will have to replace it before it shows up in Minecraft.
Absolutely stunning! I love the way you made it, its exactly the way I had imagined it to look. Good work pal!

Holy Smokes! This Texture Pack Is One Of The Best Ive EVER Scene Before! I Have To Say I JUST LOVE How You Turned The Bow Into A SMG And Actually Tried To Change The Arrows To Bullets. This Texture Pack Is The One of The Rare Texture Packs That Put You In A WHOLE NEW World!

Thank you! I'm trying hard to make it look good. I also really wanted to make this pack different then anything out there. Comments like these help inspire me to keep working on it, so thank you!
Sorry about the double post, but how do I check how many downloads I've gotten? I really want to know. People always have how many downloads they've gotten on their threads, but I can't seem to find where it shows how many downloads I've gotten. Can someone help me out?

Got to run around for a bit. So I thought I'd throw your pack on and see what I see. I lol'd when I saw the coal (fuel)

AHH SPIDER!!
Lol, your world looks pretty cool with my pack, but it looks way better with yours! I'll be updating a lot of my textures soon, so be sure to check back after 1.5 for some sexy new grass, dirt, and etc!

Looks like Last Days, but nowhere near as original.
Thems fighting words! Lol. I personally think my pack is original, since my only inspiration was very loosely from Lovecraft. And since no one else has made snow and ice into moss and algae. And, when I say this I mean absolutely no offense to Last Days, but its very easy to see that it was heavily inspired by Fallout, and not extremely original. So I don't really get what you mean by "nowhere near as original".
Overgrown is a texture pack for Minecraft that combines a realistic textures with dark, scary and intimidating game play.
The first thing you notice is an astonishing splash logo, By Mojang reads the logo, in a dark steel plate with green glowing letters and the Mojang logo looks truly beautiful. Enter the main menu and i immediately notice the industrial feel of this pack. The main menu buttons have a riveted border, simple, clean but also gives minecraft a very distinct mood.
Now i open my game world, the first thing i notice is the cobblestone, it looks like an iron block again with the simple yet beautiful rivets around the border, the thing i notice next is my lava lit hallways. In this pack lava is green. After the first minute of "what is this" I realize that green lava is epic. The water in my fountain is what i see next. "Oh my god" i say. The water is an extremely realistic green color. It reminds me of the water in Fallout 3.
I go to where i have a sewer system from the small village above. The green water makes the sewer system much more realistic and i really enjoy it.
The next thing i do is check out gravel.
Yes, I hate it, in every pack the gravel is always ugly or just not paid attention to. But in OverGrown i can really see that the effort has been put into the gravel. It has a green dark feel to it and makes mining spectacular.
What i really enjoyed was my bedroom, the beds and chests in this pack are awesome.
At first I did not like the coal. It says "Fuel" on the block and i thought that it would be too obvious when mining and would make me angry. But now i really like it. It is easy to see from a distance.
Next i go to the farm with hacked in spawners.
Oh jeez! i shout in joy and fear.
Pigs say "Storage" on the side. They have the same rivets and fatigued metal look to them. Cows have a green glowing face, or mask type of thing and they look like something out of a Comic Book. Chicks scare me even more now.
Ive always pretended that chickens are spies, from the thread on here, but now it is easy to fear chickens. In this pack they dont have legs nor a head. They have some form of rocket booster looking things on their rears and two dots for eyes.
The only thing i don't like in this texture pack is the torches, they look great but look to have been reduced. Their light is dim, almost like the defult redstone torches. You get used to it, but at first it is incredibly annoying.
With lava lit hallways and torches it is bright enough for me.
Over all this pack is beautiful. A true piece of art. It gives a realistic feel to Minecraft.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was very in depth, detailed, and fun to read! I might just have to throw it on my front page! The chickens are still very much WIPs so I was happy to see that you already like them! As for the torches, I will be sure to put an alternate texture for the torches in 2.0 just for you!
Here are some . Any type of feedback is great, so I appreciate you taking the time to write this.

Ask History. He knows.
But Really nice pack
Alright, I will. Thanks!
Thank you for the compliment and the help! I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work and gave up on it yesterday. Now I have it up and running!

Eh, yeah. Just finished up some remodeling in my bathroom. Gonna start on those pictures again! I'm sorta stuck on what I should do for them though...
Thank you! I appreciate it even more since that was your first post! Welcome to the forums Builderboy1000!
Also, a big update is coming! Here is a small teaser of whats to come:

Lol, yeah. People seem to really dig the chaotic look! Thanks!
Yeah, I enjoyed it. Although I can't tell if you are being sarcastic .
