Looks so very cool, not something i'd use in my normal games but for a fallout/apocalypse survival/adventure map this would be perfect and when it's finished it should be used by said maps!
Updated my first post with a wall-of-comments in a code bracket, feel free to scroll down in it.
Thank you very much for the compliments and review! Now I have an idea of stuff I should change and mess with. Here is my almost equally long response! These are just the answers, btw.
Thank you! I know what you mean about the dirt being too soft, Ive been messing with it a lot trying to get it to stand out but still look the same.
Lol, thanks! I tried to make all of my monsters the sort that make going out at night a really bad idea! I will try messing with the mouth to see how it looks like when its narrower.
Unfortunately, these three creatures were not by me! The cow and pig zombie (how I love that thing) were by History and the spider was by Glimmar. I am planning on making my own versions of each (not the pig zombie if possible), which will be similar, but have an Overgrown twist!
Thank you very much! The wonderful thing about post apocalyptic settings is that they practically make their own stories and explanations!
Thanks! I'm not sure how to make them stand out more though. I noticed that right away and put the Croc Co. logo on it, but I couldn't think of anything else.
Thank you. The mossy cobblestone looks very cool in dungeons, because it almost looks like a little bunker trapped underground.
Yeah, I understand your issues with my cactus! Cacti looked strange for some reason, so I decided to go with something that might look more alien and strange, like boxes! I wish I could have green particles coming off of it to indicate that its radioactive and dangerous. I may take another swing at a cactus, to put as an alternate texture.
Thanks, I wanted them to look like something you would find buried after an apocalypse, not just ores.
I totally get your complaints with the netherrack. I was messing with it for the longest time and finally just gave up and threw that on there. I've already started working on a new one.
Thank you. I was worried that it was maybe too noticeable!
Thanks! I was sorta lost on what to do for gold, so I just decided to make it something people could use to build with, not just stick in a vault somewhere.
I will try to get the brick and sandstone to tile, because now that I think of it, sandstone looks a little like brick!
I will try to spruce it up! Thanks!
That's always good to hear!
Thank you! I will try to make one with better visibility, with perhaps just the mesh or a very wide mesh like you said.

Thank you! I understand what you mean, I found this pack is wonderful for starting a new world, rather than playing an old one. And speaking of fallout/apocalypse survival/adventure maps, do you know of any good ones that I could use to test this pack on?
You've done an amazing job, Croco15. Very high quality stuff and you know I like things with rivets in. The more rivets, the better I like!
My eye is definately on this, mate, and glad my items and boat have been of some use. Just nice to see something post-apocalyptic that isn't based all out on Fallout.

Thanks Glimmar! Its true, I love rivets! I'm just hoping that I'll be able to compete with Last Days! I may have my own post apocalyptic world, but History really knows what hes doing!
_EDIT_: and for a post apocalyptic map go on Last Days thread in my sig and go to maps and click on The Compound. It's a good post apoc map.
Don't worry, I will! I just want to get some stuff sorted out with it before I do that. And thanks for the tip! I just tried that map, and its pretty interesting! I'll have to make a video of it soon.
This pack does seem cool; although, i dont like how everything smeers together into a big green mess.
The snow can use some work in my opinion; Ash or dirty snow would be fine, when i first saw it i didnt even know what it was.
The Flint and Steel as the flamethrower was kinda neat but for only lighting one block on fire its a bit much.
The indicator that tells you which hotbar slot your on is very subtle and has cost me a village online with a unwanted flint and steel use.
You did manage to make my hospital look like an insane asylum though, ill give you props for that.

A good pack, ill look at it again when its 100% finished
Thank you for your constructive criticism! The point of the pack is to be overgrown with plants/fungi, so I cant really help the fact that its so green. As for the snow, I understand its difficult to figure out what it is at first, but actual snow would ruin the feel of this pack and the algae I have right now makes some wonderful marshes.
The flint and steel texture is not mine though, its a placeholder by Glimmar. And I do understand what you mean about the indicator being too subtle. I'll try to mess with it, and if I can't get it to stand out, I'll just make it a white square.
Cool hospital! It looks very creepy!
I'm sorry to hear that. Its regular on my monitor, try turning up the brightness on yours and see how it looks! I had that problem with my old monitor for a year before I decided to turn up the brightness.
I like this pack it's like all dusty and rusty, kinda like the west too.
I don't know about dusty, but its certainly rusty. Thanks!

Very nice atmosphere. But it's really too dark. This will just make people turn up their brightness. You can make something look bleak and overgrown without making it ridiculously dark.
Hmm, I guess my monitor is just too bright. I'll try releasing a brighter alt version of the terrain.png next update.

How so? Its quite different already.
