I just wonder what texture packs are currently fully working with beta 1.4 (including wolves and cookies).
Eventually if someone wants to make a list of some or all of the TP's for 1.4.
Just post them here, or pm me with names and links, and I'll make a list in this post
Ps. I don't take responsibility if something happens to your copy of Minecraft, this is just for use as a reference to which texture packs that have worked for some.
Pss. I'm too lazy to find links to the downloads, so either post/pm links, or readers will have to search themselves (which I think should be easy enough)
I have two, check my sig.
The rest of mine will probably be updated this weekend sometime but the only things that are going to be missing will be the dog particle effects and the cookie icon. So it's not like you would be seeing large pink blocks scattered about.

I really liked 'Haunted'! I usually play with Bordercraft, but as soon as you update that one, I think I might change ;D
Most of the packs that work with 1.3 work with 1.4
That is, not including the items and the mobs.
Personally, I don't make mobs or items or stuff like that when I make packs :biggrin.gif:

We are looking for those that are UPDATED, not just COMPATIBLE. What are you going to see when you come across a wolf, if there's no texture data for it? Will you even KNOW you just found a wolf?

I just made this topic to let folks have a quick-ref page for some tp's that has worked for some, and everything that's posted here will be on the list, if it's actually a tp download on the link provided =P

You'll see the default texture for a wolf. Since mob skins are each separate files in the /mobs folder, a texture pack will only overwrite those for which it has a new skin.
More importantly are those packs that have added the cookie to the items.png - because otherwise, there's NO icon for the object.

But don't almost all of them work with 1.4 as long as they work with 1.3? I find this topic kind of odd.
Actually, while the terrain file hasn't changed, there are three new wolf mob images, three new items in the particles file, and the new cookie in items. If you use a 1.3 texture pack you won't be able to see the new items or particles, and the wolves will look odd since they will be the default style.
To the OP: I think this thread would be much more useful if you included separate sections for 16x/32x/64x/128x/256x packs, and since those are few and far between, if you had a less prominent area for compilation packs. I've been browsing this forum constantly for the last few days and it's bothersome how many 1.3 packs are mixed with newly updated 1.4s.
All things considered, wouldn't a much easier and more organized solution be to create separate subforums for texture packs that support different game versions? I think it would be a very useful change- we would no longer have the same pages crowded up with out of date packs.

I don't have time to make a full list which has been tested and confirmed working with beta 1.4, tho I hope someone will take the time and responibility to make a dedicated topic/list with just those who are working with 1.4, instead of just adding them to an old topic where confusion can be made.
