I need some ideas for the texture pack that i'm making called HellCraft... But that name sounds a little bit common so I would like some name suggestions too!

HellCraft is going to be a texture pack based on hell. It isn't going to look anything like the nether... AT ALL... I hope :3

I already made the wolves, which were the base of my inspiration. I made them look like badass hellhounds.

So please, share your ideas. I think this is going to be an awesome pack.

Aver Hell? What might that be?

I was starting a similar texture pack but I called it the Blood in the Water pack. So obviously, I had red water. I also made the tree leaves black to give them a dead look, the grass was dead and yellow, and I didn't get to this but i wanted to make the wood look like it was rotting. This just occurred to me, why don't you make the snow black like ash. That would be cool. PM me when you finish I'd like to see how you do.

Is that currently being worked on or is it discontinued? I would love to use some of those ideas and I was actually thinking about using some of them already :3

Try not to think of hell in a literal way. Otherwise you'll end up with a generic representation of hell. Also note that many cultures think of hell differently. Greek, as an example, think of hell as a place where all mortals go upon death having to cross the river of styx pass through Cerberus. Not to mention they have different realms of hell for different types of people.

But yeah, The Christian hell seems a bit generic. Red, fire, lava, etc. If you can try to take inspiration from Dante's Inferno (the video game) because it took an artistic approach.

I was thinkig about stuff from that game, but I just couldn't find anything that I could make...

And I wasn't trying to go that deep into the hell part, so I should probably call it DoomCraft or something...

Discontinued, unfortunately, but the other replies gave me a great thought. You could create a Hell Hybrid using all sorts of Hell Mythology. Perhaps add two more heads onto the Dogs (I Konw you already finished them, it's just a thought). Or maybe even make the water seem to have faces of lost souls in it. Look at the cover art for Slayer's Reign in Blood album, if you can't find inspiration from that you can't make hell, I mean, it's pretty satanic. Personally, I'd make the moon into 7 red stars.
